This is a beach home nestled in the maritime forest of the Crystal Coast. Your family will feel welcomed and relaxed in this quiet and rare stretch of forest on the Southern Outer Banks. Free, private parking is available at several beach and sound-side access points less than half a mile from the house. The space We've made every effort to make this home as environmentally friendly as possible. You'll first notice the beautiful reclaimed hardwood flooring throughout the main living area. The bathrooms were remodeled using remnant granite counter tops, existing cabinetry, and reclaimed wood. The entertainment center was built using old boards salvaged from a dock in FL, and sliding French doors were reclaimed and custom built. The back deck was recently rebuilt using reclaimed deck boards, and the hot tub was acquired secondhand. It's a work in progress, but we hope you enjoy the personal touches. Guest access You have full access to the house except for the owner's closet in the master bedroom. Please do not use or move any of the items in the garage unless they are listed as items available to guests, e.g., beach gear, boards, bikes, etc. Other things to note You’ve chosen to stay in a quiet neighborhood where all of your neighbors are year-round residents. Please be respectful to them and be mindful of your noise level during outdoor gatherings on the porch.
