Opened to guests for the sole purpose of using the profits for the well-being of the village, Scenic Solitude is an attempt at conservation & is in essence a family home, that ensures to provide you a wonderful time with your friends and family. We're in love with the little viewing deck just a few steps down the door, with views across the valleys and plenty of outdoor seating for everyone to enjoy breakfast in the sunshine. The space It is just perfect for enjoying your morning coffee while you breathe in that crisp, clean mountain air. The reading nooks, fireplaces, beautiful balconies and a yard full of the most gorgeous flowers make this house feel like something straight out of a fairytale. When you’re ready to head, there are treks, trails, restaurants that serve mouth-watering food and a multitude of tourist attractions waiting for you, just a drive away. Surrounded by 700 fruit trees, fruiting season is a dream with kiwi, persimmon, apples, peaches, plums, apricots, pears and so many delightful fruits you can pluck and eat fresh. As the day passes, you can drive to waterfalls or indulge in rock-climbing, rappelling or paragliding activities; all set just about an hour away from the home. In the evening, you can head out for a nice treat at a nearby bakery and end the day with an alfresco barbecue evening at the gazebo. Wherever the day takes you, luxury awaits at the Scenic Solitude, where a dream holiday is guaranteed. To that effect, we provide: - Generator, heater, Wi-Fi - Wardrobe, hangers, electric blanket - Iron, torch - Geysers, towels, toiletries - Medical kit, mosquito repellent - Bonfire, fireplace - Barbecue kit, gazebo, library - Secured parking space for up to 3 cars This is a pet-friendly property but not wheelchair-friendly. The Space: BEDROOM - The family room is not part of the main villa and has a separate entrance altogether. - Set on the lower ground floor, it comes with 2 king-sized beds, heater, extra mattresses, wardrobes and hangers. - This room also comes with a dining table and a aesthetic fireplace for some warm, cosy evenings. - You will wake up to the sound of melodious birds chirping and open your eyes to a horizon of verdant valleys. - There is a personal garden with separate seating space where you can sit back and enjoy a nice cup of tea with a view. - It also offers an in room kitchenette that guests have access to. - All of the rooms are equipped with spacious ensuite bathrooms. BATHROOMS - There is 1 ensuite bathroom. - This bathroom is equipped with a geyser, towels, and basic toiletries. COMMON AREAS - On entering the premises of this beautiful mountain chalet, you will find yourself beguiled by the aesthetic build, serene aura, and charming blanket of flowers and lushness this house is covered by. - Walk down the enchanting stairway into the family room, perfect to lounge around and enjoy some bonding time with your loved one’s. - The showstopper of this beloved home is definitely the lush lawn. - Offering a soothing experience in itself, the lawn is perfect for a fun-filled walk amidst nature. - After a fun exploration spree around the quaint town of Hartola, you can come home to a scrumptious barbecue preparation by the gazebo and end the day on a joyful note! - Please note that these common areas may be shared. KITCHEN - Guests do not have access to the main kitchen. - However, guests have access to the kitchenette for reheating purposes. - It is equipped with a water purifier, crockery, and cutlery. FOOD - Vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals can be provided at an additional cost. - A barbecue kit/meal can be arranged at an extra charge. - The costs for the aforementioned food and beverage offerings and events are subject to an 18% GST charge. - Prices and items may vary subject to availability and peak season rates. - Consumption of non-vegetarian food is allowed. Guest access The guests have access to the entire home except for the kitchen and the family studio on the lower ground floor that is accessible through a separate entrance. There might be other guests on the property apart from your group. Common areas may be shared. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, guests may have restricted access to any shared amenities. Other things to note STAFF ACCOMMODATION We can provide staff accommodation at an additional cost of Rs. 1000 per person, per day. The cost for staff meals will align with that of adult meals, and an 18% GST charge will be added to these charges. ACTIVITIES Wake up to the first rays of the rising sun and the revitalising whiffs of fruit orchards and flora you will be surrounded by, at the charming Scenic Solitude. Feel like you're on top of the world as you peek out of the balconies and enjoy a hot cup of coffee. Start your day with an engaging session of board games with your peers. If you’re looking for some quiet time, grab a book and sit by one of the multiple reading nooks at this beloved home. During the fruiting season, you can pluck your own fruits like kiwi, persimmon, apples, peaches, plums, apricots, pears, etc, and eat them fresh. Guests can also purchase freshly-made jams and chutneys from these fruits. End your day by the gazebo with a quaint barbecue and bonfire session under the pretty evening sky. ADD-ON SERVICES - Guests can access the fireplace at an additional cost of Rs. 1500 for 2 hours. - A bonfire can be lit up at an additional cost of Rs. 1500, for 2 hours. - Prices may vary subject to availability and peak season rates..
