Peaceful Retreat from the Workday

Retreat from your worries and busy work days in this spacious and serene space. Welcoming traveling professionals in the Richmond or Petersburg VA area, to my clean, quiet, owner-occupied home in a lovely wooded community on 'The Lake' where you can get away from it all and enjoy some nature. Great for a serious professional; medical, military or contractor working days. Your own private carpeted room with lock and desk. Shared bath and a half (no more than 2 other guests sharing full bath). The space This large home is inviting and comfortable, clean and generally quiet. It's situated in a lovely wooded residential community on a large reservoir. Animal and smoke/vape-free. Guests have access to shared kitchen, dining room, living room, family room, laundry area and shared full bath and a half. Shower times can be scheduled in advance. Host's bed/bath is separate from shared living areas. Guest access Guests may prepare light meals in the kitchen and eat in the dining room, relax in the living and family rooms or use the laundry area within limited hours. Kitchen is fully equipped for light cooking and guests may have storage in pantry, refrigerator and freezer. Parking is on street in an exclusively residential community. We do maintain quiet hours between 9pm-8am so rest is a priority. During your stay Since I live in the house, I'm often available in person. I can also be reached by messaging and I typically reply within the hour. Check-in is in person. Guests are expected to be respectful of house rules and courteous to other guests sharing the property and amenities, and to raise any issues with me, so they are quickly resolved. Other things to note Welcome to RIC! This area is very accessible to all major highways (I95, 288, I64), the James River, the cites of Richmond, VA (30 min) or Petersburgh (40 min) and RIC airport (45 min), state and local parks, restaurants, shopping, museums and entertainment.
