Repose x Martinborough Grove Stay

Perched on a terrace in Martinborough’s Blue Earth Olive Grove sits one of Repose’s 14sqm Nordic inspired cabins. Offering unmatched views over the property and down the valley. This property is home to both an Olive Grove and Vineyard with no shortage of things to do. Whether it be a picnic amongst the vines, exploring the Ruakokoputuna River, or a stroll through the Grove there is plenty to keep you busy during your stay. The space Arriving at the cabin you'll notice an array of solar panels. The grove stay is fully off-grid utilising solar power and an incinerating toilet. Designed to be low-impact to the site so your stay with us will be a sustainable one. Being off grid does not deter from the experience however, the cabin is fitted with everything you would expect from a cabin of its size. A fridge, cook top, lights, hot and cold water, with great shower pressure. The cabin also has a beautiful New Zealand made Roaring Meg log burner, books and board games. There is plenty to keep you busy during your stay without needing to scroll through your phone! The cabin is conveniently located in the midst of a Dark Sky Reserve and close to the beautiful Patuna Chasm walk. The property where the cabin is located boasts picnic spots, a river to explore and the options of touring the vineyard and olive grove with the owner or doing a wine and/or olive oil tasting during your stay. As well as the cabins' close proximity to Martinborough (15 minute drive) means you are close to great restaurants and cellar doors in the area. The cabin is designed to be a ‘luxury’ version of a back-country hut experience. With the same unmatched views however there is an added layer of comfort and privacy. The cabin is set up to be enjoyed with your special someone and is the perfect place to escape the hyper-connected world we live in for a relaxing evening in nature. Please note: The cabin is located a short walk (100m) from the car park. Also due to the cabin being off-grid and powered by solar the only charging options available are USB, there are no 230v outlets. However there is the option to charge E-bikes elsewhere on the property.
