Coosalig? Coosa for the river system and koselig in Norwegian means cozy….so Coosalig!! Spacious home for your family to also make lasting memories on lovely Logan Martin Lake. Spacious rooms and a large patio offers beautiful views of the lake. Perfect for dining, family activities or quiet meditation to the sights and sounds of nature and birds that frequent the property. The property slopes gently to the lake where you can fish off a private dock or simply sit and enjoy a quiet morning. The space Coosalig Cabin?? What a weird name. We came up with the name because it is on the Coosa river system and because the word koselig in Norwegian means cozy….so Coosalig!! High speed fiber internet is available for your use. NO SMOKING in the house or near open windows where it will blow in. Thank you. The entryway/family room and kitchen area are spacious and inviting. In the family room area is a TV in the cabinet, along with plenty of family games, puzzles, books and a few dvds ( only dvd player is part of tv in bedroom with full-size bed). There is a roku attached to the TV. There is a recliner and couch. There is a bench at the door for you to take off and on your shoes. We would really appreciate that. The kitchen is big and open to the dining area and the living room area beyond that. The water is drinkable from a local spring. The cupboards are stocked with plates, bowls, glasses, coffee cups. There are pots, pans, cookie sheets, pizza pan, cutting boards, toaster, drip coffee maker, mini waffle iron, electric mixer. There is a stove, microwave, refrigerator with water and ice dispenser. There is also a dishwasher. There is an island with two stools. The dining area has a dinner table with 8 chairs. The living room area has a reclining sofa, a love seat and a chair. There is a TV with Roku. There is a wood burning fireplace. Please let us know if you intend to use the fireplace ahead of time. There is a French door that leads to a large porch area. Half is covered with a roof, the other half has a sail that can be put up for shade. Currently there is a deck box with all the pillows and sail inside. There is a table with 4 chairs, a lounge chair and numerous other outdoor chairs and two side tables. There is an outdoor light, party lights, and fans. There are three spacious bedrooms with closets. The master bedroom, king bed, has a closet is in the master bathroom area. The master bathroom has separate shower and a very large tub. There is a desk in the master bedroom if you need to get some work done. The other two bedrooms have bathroom in between them. The bathroom has a shower/tub combination. One bedroom has a full size bed. In that rooms closet you will find a pack n play and a high chair if you need them. The 3rd bedroom has 2 twin bunk beds. They are homemade and solidly built but have no “official “ ladder. There is also one twin stand alone bed in that room. There is a laundry room with washer/dryer and cleaning products. All towels and bedding is provided. The shed has electricity if you need to charge up boat batteries etc. There is a fish cleaning table you can take outside ( where there is a garden hose). Please clean up after yourself. There are camping chairs, a place to put your fishing poles, some children’s life vests. The docks. The wooden one is a floating dock in good condition. The metal two storyone can be used on the lower level to fish /swim from. The upper level is not dangerous. The metal construction is solid, but it needs new wood. We are in the process of evaluating how to best move forward on that project. So we appreciate if no one uses the upper level until we have taken care of it. PETS. We love our pets and understand it sometimes is necessary or that you just want them along for family time. We also hope that most people will not bring “ naughty” pets. We would like to limit it to two dogs. There is a mat and water bowl and one food bowl. There is also a 36” metal crate with a bed in it. If your dog likes to be on the couch we ask you put a flat sheet on to protect the couch. Please wipe muddy paws if it’s that kind of weather, there are some old towels in the laundry room. In case you get in late and forgot to pack or didn’t make it to the store. - toothbrush/toothpaste -razors -feminine products -cup of noodles/canned soup -macaroni and cheese - easy freezer meals Etc etc… We have tried to think of everything we like to have available to us and make it available to you. If you use any of the items we appreciate if you pay it forward and replace but understand that that is not always possible. Guest access Self-check-in. Access to the front yard, backyard, picnic table in the yard lakeside, porch with chairs and table, and docks. You will have access to the entire home. We have some personal items in the master closet. Upon request you may also have access to the shed. Other things to note Please keep in mind the home is on a lake surrounded by woods. Bugs live outside but sometimes find their way inside, no matter what we do to try to deter them. Also being on the water please watch your children!! We have a few life vests for the smaller kiddos in the shed. Lake lots tend to be long and narrow with no fences. Please be respectful of our neighbors, they are great people who like to see others enjoying the lake. The home is on a septic system, please only flush toilet paper. Nothing else should be flushed as it can clog the septic/drain field. Also do not pour grease into the sink there is a jar under the sink.
