Cottage in Ennismore The space Our cottage sleeps 6 comfortably in 2 bedrooms with queen beds and a brand new pull-out sofa in the livingroom. The cottage is well laid out with large windows in the livingroom offering a lovely vista of the lake and a walkout to the back deck which is only steps to the crystal clear water. Shallow entry at the sandy shore is perfect for swimmers, children, kayakers, canoers and paddle boarders. The cottage is great for remote work with fast Wi-Fi, or movie watching on the large screen TV. We provide you with linens and kitchen staples. There is parking for 2 cars in the driveway and additional roadside parking available except for winter months. Guest access We're thrilled to offer you the opportunity to enjoy our beautiful surroundings, including access to our inflatable boat. Before you embark on your boat adventure, please take a moment to read and sign a waiver form. A waiver form will be provided after you make the reservation, or you can request it in advance. Please sign the form before using the boat. Once completed, please take a photo and send it to the host. Thank you for your cooperation, and we hope you have a fantastic boating experience! We also offer a lakeview hot tub experience, perfect for indulging in pure relaxation while overlooking the serene Chemong Lake. Whether you're enjoying a morning coffee, a romantic evening, or simply unwinding after a long day, this spot offers breathtaking views and ultimate tranquility. (Important Note: The hot tub will be closed after Canadian thanks giving weekend until next further notice) Other things to note The cottage is just minutes to Bridgenorth or Ennismore for grocery stores, the LCBO, a pizza/pasta restaurant and a bakery. Peterborough is a short 10 km drive away for additional shopping, dining and entertainment options, and hosts an array of seasonal and cultural events. Chemong Lake is a 4-season playground! Great for boating, canoeing, kayaking, swimming and all types of watersports. There is excellent fishing for large and smallmouth bass, walleye, perch and musky. A marina is located nearby for boat rentals. Hit the greens at area golf courses. Winter months on the lake offer options for snowshoeing, cross country skiing, ice fishing, skating and snowmobiling. Explore these areas for scenic trails and picnic spots.
