Quiet retreat with spectacular view of Long Island Sound

Want a peaceful, pet-friendly waterfront retreat for teleworking or just relaxing? Stay at our house and enjoy spectacular sunrises and sunsets over Long Island Sound with a 5-minute walk to the beach or Wildwood State Park. The house is pristine -- barely 7 years old and tucked away on a quiet street with plenty of space for all. You’ll find 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms that sleep 6. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and is located on the first floor. The second bedroom is located on the second floor and has 2 twin beds. The master bedroom, also on the second floor, has a queen size bed and its own second floor deck and spectacular water view. Each bedroom has its own bath. You’ll find a new kitchen with quartz countertops that seats 4 at the peninsula plus 6 more at the dining room table. All appliances are new, including front loading washer and dryer. There is a 1.5 car garage plus space for 3 more cars on the driveway. The backyard has a spacious deck with plenty of seating and a Weber gas grill for cookouts. And if relaxing at home is not enough for you, there are plenty of things to do nearby. The beach is a 5-minute walk away with calm waters for dog walking, fishing, swimming, or kayaking. Walk to a five-star restaurant or the concession stand on the beach in Wildwood Park (seasonal). Take a short drive to one of the North Forks many wineries, shop at the famous Tanger Outlet Mall, or spend the day at the Splish Splash Water Park (seasonal). Downtown Riverhead is a central location for many restaurants and attractions including the Long Island Aquarium. Or drive a few more miles east to explore the North Fork’s many farm stands. We love the peace and quiet of our sleepy neighborhood on Long Island’s North Fork and insist on no large and/or loud parties that will disrupt the tranquility. Note that the house is situated 90 ft up on the bluff above the beach and Long Island Sound and may not be suitable for small children. We follow the Riverhead Rental Policy of a 29-day minimum rental.
