It combines style, comfort, and all the conveniences you need for a fulfilling holiday. A fully equipped kitchen, with all new stainless appliances, and a modern bathroom, bring new and country together in a tasteful comfortable style. Relax in the patio furniture on the back deck overlooking the backyard while enjoying your morning coffee, or unwind after a full day of exploring the County. Patio furniture will be in storage for the winter from November 1st-May 1st. Furniture is available during the off-season upon request. As this is a rural property near the water, seasonal insects are common in Prince Edward County, especially during warmer months. The home is professionally treated and cleaned regularly; however, occasional bugs indoors or outdoors can still occur. Please bring your own beach towels. When you see "4-min walk to the lake" on our listing— this means the lake is very close by, but please note: our property is not on the waterfront, and you won't be able to see or access the lake from the house or the nearby road. The shoreline in this area is private or not accessible, so while you're near the water, there’s no beach, view, or public entry point. It’s simply a nice marker of how close you are to Lake Ontario and all the great public beaches and lake access points just a short drive away! The water in the house is treated well water that goes through multiple water filtration systems. The water is safe to drink and cook with. Internet Notice: We provide Starlink internet, which is generally fast and reliable. However, due to our rural location, occasional outages or slowdowns may occur, especially during storms or peak usage times. Cell service is also limited in the area. That being said, if the internet does go out, please let us know and we’ll do our best to restore it as quickly as possible. We encourage guests to download any important documents, movies, or maps ahead of time, just in case. TV Notice: Our TV uses Roku, a streaming device that lets you watch apps like Netflix and more. Some apps come pre-installed for free (“featured free” on Roku), but for services like Netflix or Disney+ you’ll need your own login and password. Guest access Guests will have access to a shared backyard, plenty of parking on the driveway to the left, a private deck, and a sitting area overlooking the backyard. The fire pit in the backyard is first come first serve. If the fire pit is available and you decide to use it, please call in our burn permit (instructions are on the fridge). Firewood is not provided but can be purchased at the local store just down the road.
