Winter FUN @ Olympic Village Inn, 3/12 to 4/16/23

Olympic Village Inn (OVI), converted from 1960s Winter Olympics athletes' housing to a beautiful, magical, alpine Resort perfect for families, couples, seniors, skiers, nature & snow sport enthusiasts, & those seeking a quiet, secluded retreat! At the foot of Palisades Tahoe, the new name for Squaw Valley Ski Resort, the year-round Gondolas & Tram open a world of activity & nature at the mountain summit -- restaurants, shops, lakes, hiking trails, & a skating rink! OVI has it all any season!! The space This is a timeshare condo at Olympic Village Inn in Squaw Valley (aka Palisades Tahoe) -- at the foot of the Palisades Tahoe Ski Resort (formerly known as Squaw Valley Ski Resort): Right now I am offering the following 2023 skiing dates: Check-in @ 4:00pm: Check-out @ 11:00am: Sunday, 3/12/23 Sunday, 3/19/23 Sunday, 3/19/23 Sunday, 3/26/23 Sunday, 3/26/23 Sunday, 4/02/23 Sunday, 4/02/23 Sunday, 4/09/23 Sunday, 4/09/23 Sunday, 4/16/23 If you do not want all 7 nights, let me know. The problem would be the cleaning. If you stay less than 7 nights, you will have to pay for the additional cleaning when you leave. If you stay all 7 nights, the cleaning is included in the nightly rate. With much to offer all year, OVI is close to the Alpine Meadows Ski Resort (and the lift tickets are interchangeable), Tahoe City, Donner Lake, Donner ski Resort, Lake Tahoe beaches/sports, Stateline casinos, Truckee, championship golf courses, shopping & dining. When snow falls, take a 5 minute shuttle with your skis to the foot of Squaw Valley, or to the foot of the Alpine Meadows slopes. OVI has 5 Jacuzzi Spas on the property, an Olympic size pool, a pool changing room with showers, bikes and helmets for guest's free use, LOTS of activities for adults and children every day, a game room, a fitness Center with Tread Mills, Exercise bikes, Weight Machine , Fitness Classes, a Sauna, Flat Screen TV, a fireplace in the lobby, a place to store your skis, bocce ball lanes, sand volley ball court, swings and play equipment for children, outdoor BBQs, a large common kitchen to prepare more elaborate meals for larger families or parties, outdoor fire pits, outdoor picnic areas and tables, and there are many hiking trails at the base of Squaw Valley as well as all over the area, especially at the top of the mountain, which can be reached by the year round Gondola and/or Tram. The winter is a wonderland for skiing, ice skating, snow boarding, and lots of other winter sports such as sledding, and cross country skiing. Summers are warm, the fall is beautiful with color and crisp air, and the spring is magical with flowers blooming, snow melting, and the Truckee river flowing fast for kayakers and canoers! This is an ideal place no matter when you come! Lake Tahoe is very close by, and there are other ski resorts nearby with Shuttle service from Squaw Valley, OVI has free Wifi, DirectV, 2 flat screen TVs in each condo, DVD players for both TVs, DVD Rentals, Free Book borrowing, lots of Communal space to share with other guests, but lots of private outdoor space to be alone and rejuvenate, basically there is something for just about everyone, and plenty more! IF INTERESTED IN OTHER RESORTS ALL OVER THE WORLD: As an Owner, I have access to lots more Resort condos in the North and South Lake Tahoe area in addition to the Thunderbird Resort Club in Reno, as well as lots of condos all over the US, Hawaii, Caribbean, and the world for which I can trade my condo weeks. So if you want to rent a condo elsewhere, feel free to contact me. Once you tell me the location and dates, I can reserve exactly what you requested (hopefully). I can then create a posting on AirBnB specifically for your request for that particular condo and your dates, let you know when it is active, and you can then request it and I can accept it. (I haven't yet figured out how to use the AirBnB platform to tell people that they could ask me about Resort condos at various, unspecified locations and dates. Since I have access to so many condo weeks, but hardly ever am able to use them myself, I would love to be able to go through AirBnB to rent them just to re-coop my costs, so my nightly rates will be very reasonable -- at "owner" prices so to speak.) Other things to note There is a game room, a separate ping pong table, foos ball table, free bicycles and helmets, bocce ball lanes, sand volley ball court, several hammocks throughout the quiet gardens, and a playground for the kids with slides and swings, and of course a big heated pool and lots of large hot tubs throughout the property!
