Harebell: homely hideaway
Harebell: homely hideaway
Description
Cosy cottage for 2, with a 4-poster king bed and log burner. All on the ground floor, it is accessible for those with some mobility problems (although paths are uneven and doors not quite wide enough for wheelchairs), and has a wet room. Kitchenette at back of living room, which has patio doors opening onto the enclosed garden (step down). One or two small to medium size dogs or small children welcome, with cot and high chair available on request. Hot Tub available to rent at extra cost. The space Converted from a 17th century cattle shed, Harebell has high vaulted ceilings and lots of exposed beams. Guest access Self-contained cottage with garden. Free access to the games room, information room, tennis court, wood-fired sauna and children's play area. Other things to note There are 4 other cottages within a few metres and one (Campion) shares the bedroom wall with Harebell. The walls are thick stone so sound transfer is not a problem, but note that there may be other people in the grounds and adjoining garden. Although it is no longer a working farm we have some pet animals, including sheep and goats (which can be fed), chickens, dogs and cats.
