Quiet, country house - 30 min from downtown Cville

Welcome to Friendship Road, a comfy, rural home away from home located in the peaceful countryside of Palmyra, Virginia! The 3-bedroom Craftsman is perfect for families or groups, offering an open kitchen/living room floor plan, ample sleeping room, and all the modern amenities you need to make your stay comfortable and convenient. The space Step inside to discover a tastefully furnished living area, complete with comfortable seating, gas fireplace, and a Vizio smart TV. Adjacent to the living room, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen that's perfect for whipping up delicious meals and snacks during your stay. The kitchen includes a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and all the cookware, utensils, and dishes you need to prepare and enjoy meals at home. There is also a full laundry room and half bath off of the kitchen. The 3 bedrooms all come with comfortable foam mattresses with soft mattress toppers (removable if you prefer a firmer mattress) (1 King, 1 Queen, and 1 Full), soft linens (extras in each closet), and plenty of storage space for your belongings. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, while the second bathroom is located in the hallway and is easily accessible from the two front bedrooms or the living area. The couch in the living room lays flat for extra sleeping space and there is a queen sized air mattress in the front closet. Outside, you'll find a covered front porch where you can enjoy the weather and the rhythm of the rocking chairs. Take your coffee out to the front patio and soak up the sun, or listen to the crickets at night after lighting a fire in the patio's pit. For dinner, there is a Traeger grill and seating on the back deck. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home and surrounding property. The front door is equipped with a smart lock; you will be sent instructions to setup your access as soon as your stay is confirmed. Other things to note The Friendship Road home sits on just under 3 acres of land including a fully fenced in backyard, plenty of mature trees, and a short trail cut through part of the woods making a fun hike for younger kids. The property has a very private location, but is also just off of Rt. 15 which provides a straight shot to grocery stores and restaurants on Zion Crossroads. We are on a well and the water can have a slight sulphuric smell (mostly after it rains). It’s perfectly safe but we do have a whole house filter and get the system tested and maintained regularly. We also have a filtered water pitcher that automatically fills in the fridge.
