The space Surround yourself atop the pines as you enjoy the view of gently falling snow or a beautiful sunset through soaring wall of windows as you cozy up by one of two fireplaces. This chalet style cabin features a rustic cabin feel with floor to ceiling knotty pine. The open floor plan is perfect for families and friends to make new memories. The main floor includes a stocked kitchen that opens to the family room and dining room. The dining room table comfortably seats 6 and an additional 2 can be seated at the stools by the counter. Warm up by the roaring fire as you sip hot chocolate or enjoy a beer from one of our local breweries. If you need to get some work done while on vacation, there is a desk area for your use as well as high speed internet. As you relax on the couch, you can watch the 65" smart TV and enjoy your streaming apps such at Netflix, Hulu, Prime using your personal account. The roomy top floor master bedroom (king bed) includes a full bath with jetted tub for you to unwind and relax after your adventures. In the morning, awake to a beautiful sunrise while you read a book on the comfortable lounger. There is one full bathroom on the main floor and 2 bedrooms featuring a queen in one bedroom and 2 twin beds in the other. Bathrooms are fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner and soap as well as a hairdryer for your convenience. The newly finished basement in 2022 adds a fourth bedroom with queen bed. Wash away your cares in a 3rd full bathroom with custom shower. The movie room includes a wrap-around sectional couch with 3 recliners, charging stations built in, storage box, and full-sized sofa sleeper. Recline and relax watching your favorite movies while snacking on popcorn or a cold beverage from our mini-bar. If you are looking for a bit of competition enjoy challenging others to a game of ping-pong, foosball, and air hockey. The lower level opens up to the outside with a large French door to let the fresh air in. Guests have access to the entire home. During winter (Nov 1 – April 1) street parking is not allowed. Please park on the driveway (3 cars maximum please). This home rests atop a hill and is 3 levels with many stairs and is not handicapped accessible. The climb up the road to the home can be difficult in snowy conditions. The village is diligent about plowing, but if snowing it may require 4 wheel drive or chains to navigate through the neighborhood up to the home. The driveway is also very steep and we suggest parking near the bottom when there is snow. We do our best to have snow cleared as quickly as possible. The home has a cell spot for T-Mobile/Sprint customers once connected to the wifi. We love our winters in Flagstaff, but be aware that during winter weather, the streets in our neighborhood as well as our driveway, are steep and may require 4 wheel drive or snow chains to navigate to our home. Backing into the driveway and parking at the bottom near the street will reduce sliding.
