Description
We've been renting out our cabin since 2019, now decided to share the main house as well Please check out our reviews on airbnb under my account or on social media under BayTreeFarm Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The cabin is a quirky little place to stay and get inspired or just chill & have a rest on the undercover deck while listening to birdsong, reading a good book with a nice cup of tea or just to have a sleepover if you are visiting the vineries or travelling Australia. The space Set on a 5 acres of farmland and 30 more acres of bush behind us, the cabin sleeps max 4 adults and two kids (or two adults and up to four kids - cot available as well) The large main bedroom accommodates a king bed and a click-clack sofa, where an extra person or two kids could sleep and there is another bedroom, with a double bed, where the sliding doors can be closed. Kitchen has an oven, stovetop, toaster and a blender. Plates, bowls, cutlery and crockery. Bathroom has a bathtub with shower head. Shower gel, soaps and towels are supplied. Outside spacious deck, with lounge, dining table and gas BBQ. There are spots around the property where fire can be lit, if we don’t have a total fire ban. The chickens are free range, although they usually stick to the other side of the orchard, but feel free to take a walk and check them out! Our house is the one behind the cabin, or you can find us in the barn to the left, behind the carport or to the far left in the garden and the orchard with the chickens Guest access The road leading into the property is a beautiful one to walk in the morning or an afternoon. Stretches from the post boxes on a windy road, you can see kangaroos & wallabies grazing in the mornings or late afternoons, cows and alpacas on the top of the hill during the day. Echidnas in the warmer months, wombats at night if you have trained eyes. There is a small veggie patch with some herbs right at the cabin - feel free to use it. There is a spot for fire next to the main dam, can be used for outdoor cooking or just chilling around the fire, depending on the fire regulations of course. Feel free to visit our chickens on the other side where the citrus orchard and the garden is, the animals love the attention - just be mindful of electric fences. Other things to note We are about 50 minutes from Newcastle and 2 hours from Sydney. I may allow pets on special request. Registration Details PID-STRA-3034-2
