The space Le Havre du Canal is a small ancestral house built in 1875 and carefully renovated in 2022, located by the canal in Leclercville. With its original paneling, its small village house proportions and its gentle atmosphere, it is an intimate, clean and warm retreat, ideal for two people who want to slow down, cook, enjoy the hot tub, make a fire and savor the calm of the waterfront. On the ground floor, the living and dining rooms form a simple and comfortable space to relax after a walk to the dock or an evening out. The Roku smart TV allows you to use your own streaming subscriptions. The kitchen is well equipped to prepare real meals during the stay: cook in peace, have a coffee, have a drink, chat for a long time around the table. This old house is not suitable for people with limited mobility, balance problems, or difficulty using stairs. You have to climb four steps outside to access the house. Both bedrooms are upstairs, while the only bathroom is on the ground floor, which requires regular use of a narrow and steep interior staircase, especially at night. The bathroom includes a standard combination tub and shower and does not have any special features for people with limited mobility. The accommodation is better suited for independent travelers who are steady on their feet and fully comfortable using the stairs. The house is designed for personal or tourist stays focused on rest, with a spirit of respect for the place. It is not suitable for construction site stays, work teams, or use as an operational base. The base price is for 2 guests. Any additional person present on the premises, even for a single night, must be declared in the reservation. A fee per additional person applies beyond 2 guests. The spa is located in the covered pavilion, protected from the weather. This is a small 120V spa, ideal for quiet sessions, especially for 2 people. It heats up more slowly than a standard spa and must be well covered after each use to maintain its temperature, especially in winter. The TV works with Roku and streaming apps. There is no traditional cable. You can use your own subscriptions such as Netflix, Prime, Disney+, ICI Toutv, TVA+ or Noovo. Access to sports channels or live TV may require your own subscriptions. Outdoor amenities are seasonal. The pavilion, outdoor furniture, BBQ, and fire pit are set up or accessible depending on the time of year, the weather, and winter conditions.
