Bayside East - Lake view cottage at Covewood Lodge
Description
Bayside East is located just a few feet from Big Moose Lake. It has beautiful views of the lake and outlet from every room. Completely renovated for 2018, Bayside East has a large living room with massive fieldstone fireplace, a bedroom with queen bed and single pullout, kitchen, and bath. The living room has a queen convertible. The bath includes a combination bath/shower. The space Nestled among balsam firs, spruce and cedar trees on the shores of Big Moose Lake, Covewood Lodge is a Great Camp-style inn, including a historic main lodge and 19 cottages. Covewood provides rustic and comfortable accommodations for approximately 100 guests from May through October. Many families have been coming for three or more generations and have formed life-long friendships with the owners, other guests, and staff. We hope you will join us and start or continue your own Covewood tradition! Covewood offers a variety of boat rentals, access to miles of hiking trails, a tennis/basketball court, pool and ping pong, horseshoe pits, and the famous Covewood ring game. There is excellent bass fishing off the footbridge. Covewood is a place to reconnect with family away from the technology and fast pace of the “real world.” As such, there are no TVs, no cell phone reception, and no phones in the rooms or cottages. Wifi and a payphone are available in the Main Lodge. For the sake of our natural environment, Covewood does not allow smoking or pets on the property. Guest access Guests are able to access all resort facilities (main lodge and waterfront complex) and have exclusive use of their cottage. Other things to note None of the cottages at Covewood Lodge have keys - doors have interior locks, so you can lock yourself in but not out. Due to Covid 19, guests are required to bring their own bed linens and towels, however blankets, pillows, soap and toilet paper are provided.
