Tucked away off the main road you will find our stylish and secluded little cottage, views at the front and back look at the Corwen railway station part of the Llangollen heritage line, up to Caer Drewyn Iron Age hill fort and the beautiful Dee valley. Lots of walking and cycling from the front door along with public transport to surrounding countryside . Bala lake is 10 miles away offering various water sport activities. EV charging at premises on request, The space A gem of a cottage built in the late 19th century as quarryman's cottage's, it comprises of an open plan living/kitchen area with a full size oven with an induction hob, microwave and under counter fridge with top box freezer, radiator and a small stock of condiments ( salt, pepper etc) , a perfect for two dinning table and chairs , two seater sofa for a romantic snuggle in front of the log burner ( starter pack of logs provided with options to buy more from ourselves next door or locally in a few different shops .) Play one of our many box games or read a book from our bookcase, or just chill and watch a bit of tv with the background heat from the air source heat pump radiator . Upstairs there’s a small landing with a window seat, and radiator, the bathroom with a thermostatic control shower and radiator, hand and bath sheet towels provided . A lovely tranquil bedroom, double bed with feather quilt and pillows with freshly laundered bed linen and throws and a memory foam mattress , dressing table and wardrobe, radiator and front facing window overlooking the wonderful Welsh countryside and heritage railway station . Outside to the rear we have a glass covered rear yard with seating and steps leading up to a raised terrace with far reaching views of the Dee valley along with the heritage Llangollen to Corwen railway station (seasonal , check timetable) . Table and chairs along with a bench seat for taking in the glorious sunset , and a bbq area with portable bbq for alfresco dining. Further steps leading up to the lane at the rear of the house where there is off street parking , to the front of the cottage is a patio area with our air source heat pump unit and bench seating with views of Caer Druin ,Iron Age hill fort . We can also offer EV charging at the premises via trickle charge at a non profit rate on request , but also there are high speed chargers across in the main Corwen car park always available Guest access Access is from the off street parking to the rear of the property down two flights of stairs so not suitable for access for those limited mobility Other things to note Discounts for weekly and monthly bookings we are now offering an outdoor rear raised terrace with spectacular views of the of the Corwen heritage station and Dee valley, along with off street parking and EV charging at the premises (additional charge) at non profit rate , prior booking needed
