Around the corner from New Paltz and Kingston, under a half hour from Woodstock, the Gunks, and Mohonk Preserve, and less than an hour from Hunter Mountain and Belleayre, this home is the perfect base from which to explore the Catskills. This warm and welcoming home is built on a quiet street right into the side of a wooded hill, giving it an intimate affect exuberating country charm. Though thoroughly secluded from the main road, the tranquility of the forest may be occasionally punctuated by sounds of goats and sheep dogs from a neighboring farm. The kitchen features a breakfast nook along with all the essential cookware and utensils you may need to express your inner chef. The living room and dining room can each comfortably seat six guests for a meal or a movie, and are decorated in a warm farmhouse chic style. Up the stairs, you’ll find two charming bedrooms, each with a queen bed, decorated with art inspired by life in the Hudson Valley. If more sleeping space is required, there is a daybed in the living room that pulls out to a king bed and transforms the space into a luxurious master suite! When you come, make sure you carpool, as our street can fit only 2-3 vehicles comfortably! Guests will have access to the entire living space. Access to free washer dryer upon request. The house is on a street that is part of many locals’ walking routes, however a car is needed to get around. With the changing of seasons, we have had an influx of lady bug and cricket visitors, a product of being nestled into a hill in the woods. The house has been treated and they are harmless! The house has steps leading to the front door. The single bathroom is located on the first floor and the bedrooms are located upstairs. There is a pull out day bed for downstairs sleeping options.
