Meet the Whaler’s Loft. An ode to the Town of London, whom used to be the place that fisherman called home. We open its door to all in search of both adventure and relaxation. This adorable 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, fully equipped and furnished apartment is located less than 20 minutes drive from all local attractions. The property itself is located on a dead end, naturally making it a peaceful sanctuary (with fast wifi and a record player). The space You enter into this large open concept kitchen / dining room with this amazing whale ceiling mural and sky lights above head. The vibe is laid back and cozy. Please enjoy our coffee station, where you will find an espresso machine, a coffee drip machine and a coffee bean grinder. We provide coffee filters, coffee beans for the perfect cup of Joe. The kitchen has a gas powered oven range with all the pots and pans you may need to cook a good meal at home. We have all the glassware and cookware you may need during your stay. A large fridge/ freezer combo is available to store all your groceries. A small laundry room is off the kitchen where the washer and dryer is located. We'll leave laundry detergent for you to use. Next to the entryway, you'll find a full bathroom with a clawfoot tub, a shower (just a heads up the angle is kind of awkward for tall people), a toilet and sink. See this room as a sanctuary and enjoy a nice bubble bath in the clawfoot tub. Please note that the bathroom ceiling is slanted and there is nothing we can do about it! The living room has a cool, mid century modern vibe with shades of blue sprinkled throughout the space. We set up a record player and a couple records for those at home dance parties. The TV has Netflix, Hulu and any other Roku compatible apps. Unfortunately, we do not provide cable. The bedroom has a Queen bed with a duvet, 4 pillows and a large towel and face cloth per guest. Super comfortable hybrid mattress that will support and adjust to your movements for a good night's sleep. There is a closet with hangers to store your clothes. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire apartment. Please note that the access road leading to the Whalers Loft is fairly bumpy and has some pot holes in it. Other things to note Please note that there are 2 flights of deck stairs to get to the front door of the Whaler's Loft. They are well worth the climb! There is the Good Flat (also an Airbnb we manage) on the first floor, which can be booked at the same time, if you’re interested in traveling with friends and family!
