This stylish place to stay is perfect for visiting the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast. With panoramic sea views and easy access to the beach and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The house is newly renovated to a very high standard with everything you need to make your stay perfect. Swn Y Don (meaning 'Sound of the Waves') has a modern coastal feel with many quirky individual touches. The space Everything at Swn Y Don has been lovingly re-built by us over the last four years. We have tried to consider every need of our guests so that you can enjoy your holiday to the full. The open plan upstairs living room has super high ceilings and windows all round giving a spacious light feel with amazing sea views and Skomer Island in the distance. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to enjoy cooking a meal whilst over-looking the sea, and the up-cycled Ercol Sofas are so comfy you could sleep on them! There is also a reading corner with a large selection of books and games as well as a pull out mattress for extra guests. The master bedroom has a king size bed with beautiful sea views and a large ensuite with double ended bath and shower. The rear bedroom has zip-link beds that can either be set up as two singles or one King size depending on your parties needs. There is also a second bathroom with a large curved walk in shower. All floors downstairs are tiled, with under floor heating powered by our Air Source heat pump, making them cool in the summer heat and warm under foot in the winter. They are also easy to keep clean when you return from the beach with sandy toes! There is also extra seating in the conservatory which is perfect for enjoying the amazing sunsets over the bay with a glass of wine. Outside there is two seating areas, and a hot shower making it easy to remove wetsuits outside without getting cold! There is also a hot tub where you can sit and watch the sun set over the ocean. The garden path leads straight to the crossings where you can access the path down to Pen Y Cwm beach. The property is located on the main coastal road running from Newgale to St David’s, the benefits of which are excellent transport links and the bus stop over the road. The house has been triple glazed and the conservatory also helps to dull any noise from this road. Guest access The property is semi-detached and whilst all the house is for your use, the driveway is shared access so we ask that you respect this when parking your vehicles. There is enough space for one large vehicle or two small if parked well. There is also plenty of free off road parking to the front of the house Other things to note Swn Y Don is situated in the perfect place for exploring the Pembrokeshire coast. Over the road there is a path down to Pen Y Cwn beach, which is always quiet and has many rock pools and caves - it also has great surf when the waves are right! For easy access you can drive down the hill and park at Newgale beach which links up to Pen Y Cwm at low tide. Newgale is great for surfing, kite surfing, body boarding, paddle boarding and fishing as well as beach games and there is also a pub, cafe and surf shop which does surf hire and lessons. Along the coast not far away are Nolton Haven beach, Druidston Haven, Broad Haven, Little Haven, Solva Harbour and Whitesands bay as well as many other beautiful spots. The Pembrokeshire coast path runs directly in front of the house, so if walking is your thing then this is the perfect place. The Puffin shuttle also stops directly outside the house as well as many other local buses, making getting around very easy! The City of St Davids is 6.5 miles away, with many shops, places to eat and things to explore. Haverfordwest is 9.5 miles away and has larger shops and supermarkets as well as a train station.
