Luxury Shepherd's Retreat with Hot Tub

The Shepherds Retreat is a luxurious carriage conversion situated in the medieval hamlet of Sookholme. It's very close to Sherwood Forest, Clumber Park, Hardwick Hall, Chatsworth House, historic Edwinstowe and a great number of other local beauty spots. It’s very private overlooking a small pond with a snug at the rear. A great short break destination surrounded by some beautiful walking and cycling routes including Route 6 and Sherwood Pines. Private hot tub over looking open fields and ponds The space The Shepherds Retreat is a luxury converted railway cart that has a king size bed and every amenity needed including a private hot tub, to guarantee a great holiday experience. Guest access Guests have the whole property, with private free parking, private patio with outdoor dining and rear snug seating with hammock. Other things to note We appreciate that you have probably selected this property because it has a hot tub. The hot tub is regularly maintained and unless specifically advised at the time of a short notice booking will be working. In the unlikely event that during your stay, there is a failure, we cannot always guarantee a same day fix due to availability of the engineers/parts. In these very unusual circumstances we set a policy that for every staying night that the hot tub is unavailable for use during your stay, we will refund a set figure of £20. This will constitute a term of our booking and refund policy and is none-negotiable. We are passionate about our environment and eco credentials which is why we chose Simpley Natural bathing products for their ecological and therapeutic values not only encouraging our guests relaxation during their stay, but also supporting a local business who’s values mirror our own. As we are off grid and have water treatment plants taking away the waste, we use only natural soap for our laundry and do not use artificial softeners on bed linens and towels. We air dry whenever possible and tumble towels to finish and soften so guests are assured as natural and chemical free fabrics as possible limiting any possible allergies or sensitivities. We have a no drugs policy in our properties and the surrounding grounds including the use of cannabis in whatever form including smoking. Should the property be left with an excessive amount of cleaning and clearing of rubbish or excessive cleaning to the hot tub, an additional cleaning fee at £50 per hour shall be charged.
