Cheerful Cottage Mountain Retreat!

Rest! Relax! Recharge! Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Welcome to our Home in the Mountains near Shasta Lake. We are located next to I-5 and the railroad although it is private and secluded from the rest of the world. We are 15 minutes away from Redding and yet enjoy the nature in Shasta Trinity National Forest. Enjoy visiting Lake Shasta Caverns or a dinner cruise in Lake Shasta. You can also enjoy a hike in Mount Shasta are or Lassen Park or Castle Crags State Park! The space Our place is a 4 bedroom home. We can only say that we can host upto 16 people in our home. However we have enough beds to host upto 20 people or so provided you are ok with 2.5 bathrooms. - There are 3 queen sofa beds that - can host 2 people each. Thus a total of 6. - There is a twin bunk bed that - can host 2 people. - There are 3 queen beds - can host 6 people. - There are 2 king beds - can host 4 people. - There are 2 bunk beds (top is twin and bottom is queen size) - can host 4 people. We provide linen for all the beds. The linen for sofa beds is usually stored inside the sofa bed. If you have a larger group we can discuss that through the Airbnb app and let you know how to make sure the extra people are also paid for! Guest access The garage has shared access with us. We might go into the garage to get some of our stuff. The main house is for the guests use only and we don't go in there at all unless we have a prior agreement with our guests. There is a studio with a "Shared wall" with one of the lower bedrooms. Noise from the lower bedroom might carry to the studio and vice versa. There is a "locked" door between the studio and lower bedroom which NO one can open other than the host. Our caretaker(s) stay in the studio to ensure NO parties happen! They provide any help if needed. They are also there to make sure parties and noise do not happen at our home. We do NOT welcome parties or loud noises!
