Description

Very characteristic and spacious family-friendly vacation home (converted barn, grange and pierre, 1870). Equipped with every comfort for you and your travel group (11-14 people) The vacation home has a shady and spacious garden overlooking the 12th century castle, Murol (amenities) and its volcanic mountainous surroundings: Lac Chambon, hiking trails, mountain bike routes, waterfalls, restaurants. The area has much more to offer, too many to mention... The space You may notice the high cleaning costs. We will explain this briefly. We use a local partner, they perform all work on site, for which we pay a service fee per reservation. These costs are independent of the number of days of stay, but per reservation. All these costs are visible to you as cleaning costs, to simplify our administration. We hope that we have informed you sufficiently. The complete vacation home on rue de la Pardaniche is an ideal place for a large family or group of travelers. The combination of the family house and the apartment by the terrace provides you with all the comforts. The kitchen and living room of the family house is therefore suitable for 14 people. With a spacious kitchen and living room (both about 50 square meters), these are on the same level as the dead-end street at the front. In the living room, there is a spacious sitting area, TV, a table to play games and a piano. The kitchen is fully equipped, oven, microwave, dishwasher and a long dining table with chairs, there is also access to the balcony, from where you can also go to the garden. From the kitchen, you can also reach the toilet and the 1st bathroom (with shower and sink). On the 2nd floor, there are a total of 4 bedrooms, the 2nd bathroom and a spacious landing. There is also an access to the storage attic, but it is not intended to enter it. In the bathroom with shower, sink and toilet, there is also the washing machine and dryer. When you come up the stairs from the entrance, you walk straight to the door of the bathroom. To the right of this is the first and also most spacious bedroom (family room), with walk-in closet, a king-size bed of 1.80x2.00m and a double bed (sofa bed) 1.40x2.00m. If you turn left at the top of the stairs, you will first reach the landing, which includes a bench and a punching ball. The first room on the left has a king-size bed of 1.80x2.00m, the second room on the left has two separate single beds of 0.90x2.00m. And the last bedroom again has a king-size bed of 1.80x2.00m. The apartment at the level of the terrace consists of 3 interconnected rooms (living room, bedroom, bathroom). The living room has an open kitchen, dining table, sitting area (TV, WiFi) and 2 large windows facing the garden, with direct access to the terrace with table, chairs and parasol. The bedroom, with ample closet space, has a large double bed 160x210 cm, sturdy bunk bed with two full beds of 80 cmx210 cm. In the adjacent bathroom, there is a luxury shower cabin, toilet and a wide sink. The space has been attractively renovated, while preserving authentic elements. On cool evenings, the electric radiators offer a solution. But they are probably not necessary. And of course, there is WiFi (the house is connected to fiber optic) and TV with Chromecast. But given the surroundings, you shouldn't come for that ;) Next to the house, there is space for one car, in the vicinity (<200m) there are several free parking options. Guest access The vacation home has its entrance at the front on the street. You can also enter the house via the side and the balcony. The side path leads to the large terrace with dining table, chairs and parasol. Here is also the entrance to the apartment. You also have access from the terrace to the adjoining backyard with tree house, swing, trampoline and a 2nd terrace (see photo) with lounge sofa. There is one private parking space for guests on the premises. Other things to note There are general amenities such as bed linen (beds are made), hand soap and toilet paper. You can indicate with your reservation that you would like to book a towel package with our local representative. This consists of one large towel, one small towel and one washcloth for Eur 7.50 p.p. To be paid upon arrival. Tourist tax is paid directly with your reservation through Airbnb. For people with walking difficulties, the short descent next to the house and the access to the lower garden may be perceived as a hindrance. If in doubt, please contact us. If you want to charge your electric car, this can be done 300m away in the parking lot at the office de Tourism. It is not allowed to use the electricity grid of the house for this purpose.
