The space The Space Perched on stilts at the edge of the forest, the cabin feels like a treehouse overlooking open meadows and sweeping Blue Ridge views. Built with care and craftsmanship, it features warm wood interiors, 20-foot ceilings, large picture windows, and two cozy sleeping lofts that make the space feel open and light. The kitchen is simple and well-equipped with a 2-burner induction stovetop, and the large window-side counter is perfect for meals or remote work with reliable high-speed WiFi. Upstairs, the main loft offers a queen bed, while a second loft—accessed by a ship ladder—invites quiet moments with coffee, reading, and long-range views. Outside, enjoy the private deck, fire pit, and outdoor hot tub—perfect for sunset soaking and stargazing. The cabin is heated in winter and air-conditioned in summer for year-round comfort. This cabin is one of three, set 30–60 feet apart and connected by a shared driveway and parking area, with thoughtful spacing to maintain a sense of privacy. Guests are welcome to explore walking trails and open natural spaces, with occasional encounters with neighbors and retreat participants. Guest access The cabin is one of three similar cabins on the property, set 30–60 feet apart and connected by a shared driveway and parking area. Each cabin is positioned to take in views of rolling meadows and forest, with thoughtful spacing to maintain a sense of privacy. During your stay, you’ll enjoy: - a private outdoor hot tub - a hammock and grill for relaxing evenings - a shared sauna and cold plunge just steps from the cabin - access to miles of walking trails and open land The driveway is easily accessible for most vehicles and does not require 4x4 under normal conditions. During rare heavy snow, we recommend parking at the base of the property and enjoying a short walk up. Other things to note Children are welcome. For safety, we recommend that young children sleep on the ground floor rather than in the lofts. Let us know if you’re traveling with children—we’re happy to prepare twin mattresses for your stay. Pets: Small dogs (under 30 lbs) are welcome. A $100 flat pet fee per stay applies and will be added during booking when you indicate a pet.
