Ample off-street parking in a quiet no-through road 10 minutes' walk from the pubs, cafes and shops of Ditchling village. The large garden has something for everyone - rope swings, bridges, a slackline over the stream, a firepit area and a huge patio. The garden has direct access to the national park footpaths, leading to the South Downs Way. The space This is our family home, not just a holiday rental. For that reason, you will find yourselves surrounded with home comforts and high quality decor, not the usual rental property bare necessities. We usually only rent out the property during selective school holidays, hence the relatively few reviews. Downstairs combines modern open-plan living with 3 comfortable living areas / snugs (one of which doubles as a guest room with sofa bed). A utility / boot room provides a practical space for laundry, shoes and bags and the downstairs bathroom has an accessible walk-in shower. The kitchen-diner is light, bright and homely, with a casual seating area, island, modern appliances and a large pantry. Huge sliding doors lead to the patio and garden and sky lights fill the room with natural light. On the first floor there are 3 double bedrooms (one with en suite) and a spare floor mattress and travel cot (if requested) for children. There is also a large family bathroom with double basins, a large walk in shower and freestanding bath tub. On the second floor there is another double bedroom with a huge spa-style shower room en suite. This floor is in the eaves and so has velux windows and a velux cabrio mini balcony. Your can enjoy panoramic views of the South Downs from all of the upstairs bedrooms. Other things to note Please get in touch to ask about visiting with children.
