Additionally, there’s a convenient laundry room and a study. Upstairs, the king-size bedroom boasts a walk-in cupboard, a TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a spacious rainfall shower. The second bedroom offers the flexibility of a super-king-size bed that can be converted into twin beds and shares the family bathroom. A convenient cloakroom is also located on the first floor. Outside, you'll discover a private garden with a terrace and garden furniture offering the perfect setting for al fresco dining with the historic castle visible at the end of the garden. Within 150 metres, you can enjoy the village's charming pubs or venture half a mile to explore the idyllic quayside, offering breathtaking views of the River Ore. Embark on a ferry ride across the creek to Orford Ness National Nature Reserve, an enchanting habitat for marshland birds and a site with intriguing World War I history. Discover the untouched splendour of Orford Ness Beach (1 mile) or journey to Aldeburgh (12 miles), boasting colourful houses and its own sand/shingle beach. Explore the village of Snape (5.5 miles), where you can visit the renowned concert hall, meander by the river, and peruse an array of independent shops, eateries, and galleries. No visit would be complete without an excursion to Orford's medieval castle, which serves as the inspiration for a captivating local legend.
