A single, full size upstairs apartment for 2 in Somerset’s historical district - just steps away from restaurants, bars & shopping. We are a 1 bedroom space with a full size bed and can accommodate a maximum of 2 people. There is a living room, reading area, dining room, full kitchen and bathroom. Includes free WiFi & streaming on the tv - Hulu. Please refer to the check-in instructions for a map on how to find our parking lot! NO pets! The space is very cozy and unique. It’s decorated to make you feel at home and the live indoor plants give it a peaceful vibe. We’ve tried to keep the historical aspect going with vintage & antique furniture, when we can. You’re in a historical area, so the building is older and has some cute quirks, feel free to ask us about the building’s history when you arrive. Freshly renovated this year and always kept sparkling clean! You can expect to see updates in the space throughout the year if you plan on staying again! There are air conditioning units in the kitchen, living room and bedroom during the warm months. These will be removed during winter. Our kitchen is stocked with the basics for cooking plus a full size refrigerator/freezer and an electric stove/oven. We also have complimentary coffee & teas (cream & sugar), and depending on the season we occasionally stock the refrigerator with fresh eggs from our farm! The dining room is connected to the kitchen. The bathroom has a shower and bathtub, it is stocked with plenty of towels for 2 guests. We also provide a clothes steamer, which is located in the corner closet. There is a small wall heater next to the sink to provide extra heat if needed. We really hope you enjoy the living room with all of the natural lighting. As for the tv, we offer 1 streaming service - Hulu. You can sign into other streaming services with your own account. Right now, there is a small loveseat and a sitting chair for seating. *We are offering a 2 hour lapidary class (polishing & shaping stones) in our shop downstairs for an additional fee. Stones, tools and safety equipment included. Contact us for details! The whole apartment is yours. You must use a full flight of stairs to access the space. We do share a large private parking lot and back yard with the entire building, although you won’t see us much. The parking lot does have a security camera. You’ll occasionally see myself, my wife and a couple artists who share the downstairs as a workspace. Everyone is very friendly and respectful! We don’t usually spend much time outside the building unless tending to plants, so we won’t be intrusive. I live and work nearby, so please let me know if you need anything at all! We have several restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. Most of these are right here on the same street as the apartment and less than a minute walk. There is also a pharmacy two buildings down from the apartment and a library across the street. The local grocery store is a 2 minute walk away. Our neighbor in the house next door does have an indoor dog. He doesn't usually venture into our yard but you may see him near our yard occasionally. Dog & neighbor are both friendly! Free street parking in the front. Everything in town is pretty much within walking distance. Maps will take you to the front of the apartment building. You will actually be parking in the private lot behind the building, you will have to use the side alley to access this lot. I will include a map to help you but there is also free street parking right in front of the apartment. It’s all very convenient! This space can accommodate 2 people! It is not suitable for children due to many safety factors both indoors and outdoors. We are offering 2 hour lapidary classes (polishing & cutting stones) in our shop downstairs.
