Our newly renovated luxury suite is located just a 3-minute drive from the shops and restaurants of town, close to popular trails for hiking and Blackburn Lake for summer swimming. You will find everything you need for a truly restorative, memorable Salt Spring stay! The space Your private entrance opens from a spacious deck into a sunny room with 14-foot ceilings. The west coast decor includes brand new, quality furnishings. You’ll find a walnut table with two comfy chairs for dining or working remotely. The top-of-the-line queen-size mattress provides the best possible back support and the deepest of sleeps. A large, four-drawer bureau gives you plenty of space to store your clothing and personal belongings. The ensuite bathroom offers the height of luxury with a huge tiled shower, gorgeous granite vanity, heated soft pebble floor — and even a separate WC. White towels (and bed linens) are hotel quality. You can watch your fave flix and shows on the 42” tv — and you’ll surely love the convenience of fast wi-fi and USB charging ports built into the walls for your devices. A dedicated air-con/heating unit ensures the room temperature will always be just right in the variable island climate. Guest access This unique island retreat has forested walking paths on the property and expansive views of the Cranberry Valley. Unwind with a good book on your own private deck or take a leisurely stroll through the bountiful organic garden. Take an afternoon nap on a lounge chair or sit around a campfire in the evenings (conditions permitting). Most of all, you’ll want to relax in the restorative waters of the authentic Japanese “onsen”. Nestled in a grove of mature maple, fir and arbutus trees, this spacious cedar hot tub will make your visit to super-natural Salt Spring Island complete. During your stay During your stay, I will communicate with you mostly through AirBnb text messages. You can also ring the doorbell at the front entrance of the house and we will respond immediately if available. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your visit more enjoyable. Other things to note Breakfast & Snacks: Self-serve breakfast, including homemade granola, cereals, coffee, tea, juices and an assortment of snacks are included in your stay. There is a small in-suite refrigerator that is kept well stocked — so you don’t have to go into town to get your day started. Pets: We are happy to welcome up to two dogs per stay. (Sorry, we cannot accommodate cats.) There is a fee of $40 per stay which you can select when booking.
