Welcome to my cosy annex apartment in Bathgate! This space is perfect for up to 2 guests, and I’ve designed it to be a comfortable and relaxing retreat. The bedroom has a king-size bed, but if you need a different setup, I’m happy to arrange it as two singles—just let me know in advance. There’s plenty of storage in the wardrobe, so you can unpack and feel right at home. The space One of my favourite spots is the conservatory-style living room. It’s filled with natural light and a great place to unwind, whether you're catching up on your favourite shows or simply enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. You’ll have your own fully equipped kitchen and dining area, so feel free to cook meals and enjoy them at your own pace. The apartment is on the ground floor, and while there are two small steps leading into the conservatory, it’s still easily accessible. There’s also private parking for one vehicle in the driveway, so no need to worry about finding a spot! I like to keep check-in as flexible as possible, so you can either be greeted in person or opt for self-check-in if you prefer a more independent arrival. The location is a wonderful mix of countryside calm and convenience. We’re just under 2 miles from Bathgate train station, and if you’re driving, Junction 4 of the M8 is only a 2-minute drive away, making it easy to travel between Edinburgh and Glasgow. Stirling is also a short drive if you fancy exploring more of Scotland. Bathgate is a lovely town with a bit of everything. There’s the Five Sisters Zoo for a fun day out, Beecraigs Country Park for nature lovers, and some interesting historical landmarks like Bathgate Castle ruins. I hope you’ll love the area as much as I do and have a relaxing and memorable stay! Guest access Once you’ve parked in the private driveway, you’ll step into my cosy conservatory through your own private entrance, where you’ll be greeted by comfy couches and chairs—perfect for unwinding right away. Just two steps down, you’ll find yourself in the fully equipped kitchen and dining area, ready for anything from a quick snack to a leisurely meal. From here, a small hallway leads to your serene bedroom with an en-suite, offering you a peaceful retreat for the night. Outside, the garden awaits! There’s a lovely patio with a table and chairs, ideal for enjoying your morning coffee or an evening barbecue with a small disposable grill. You’ll also have access to my garage where you’ll find a washing machine, tumble dryer, and an outdoor washing line if you need to refresh any clothes during your stay.
