Hello, welcome to Paille-en-Plume… We have carefully renovated and decorated this cottage in the courtyard of a traditional building in the historic center of Besançon, to make it a comfortable place, which warmly welcomes you, for a few days or longer. Étienne & Merril The space The nest is composed of a large living room, kitchen, dining room and living room with a wood stove (logs available), lit by 3 large windows, a cozy bedroom dressed in wood with a double bed (140 cm wide), a wardrobe and a small desk, and a bathroom with toilet and shower in waxed concrete. A 7-minute walk from Besançon-Viotte train station through the Parc des Glacis, and 5 minutes from La Boucle (the heart of the city) through the Pont Battant, the place offers tranquility close to transport, tourist and sports visits, and shops (restaurants, craft beer and local absinthe bar, bulk grocery store, bakery and pharmacy on the street). By car, free parking Battant is a 1-minute walk (120 m).
