Wiffy Bog #1 Summer Kitchen Suite, Elk mountain

The Summer Kitchen Suite #1 is a mini apartment. It is a renovated space in the original Summer Kitchen of this 130 + year old farm, located in the Endless Mountains of Pennsylvania. We are less than 5 miles from Elk Mountain Ski Center, an hour+ from Greek Peak and an hour+ from the Pocono ski resorts. The space The Summer Kitchen suite is a mini apartment. The great room features a cathedral ceiling. The windows look out toward the original barn, pond and the back yard. There is a fully furnished kitchenette. The bedroom has a queen size bed. There is a hid a bed in the living room. The bathroom has a shower. Wi fi and basic cable are included. Guest access This suite is on the upper level and is accessed by a flight of stairs. There is a deck with a grill and picnic table, that is shared with the innkeepers. Other things to note We are located in prime fishing, kayaking, hiking, berry picking and leaf peaking territory. We are close to the D&H Rails-Trail, for safe biking through the forest and along the headwaters of the Lackawanna River. A short drive to Scranton will take you to Steamtown USA, the Lackawanna Coal Mine tour, Everhart Museum and other landmarks made famous by "The Office" We are 20 minutes from Forest City where the Scranton Marathon begins. Montrose, our county seat has a beautiful, historic courthouse. Historic Montrose was part of the Underground railroad, has an abundance of beautiful old homes, and among other events, has an annual Blueberry Festival that is not to be missed.
