Sunset Farm: Historic Victorian Home on 300 acres

Sunset Farm is a historic home located in the picturesque Eastern Townships, home of endless cycling trails, clear lakes and countless winter activities. The home sits on 300 acres of private property overlooking a valley and mountains in the background. It is a mile away from a quaint village and only 10 miles from a major city. We’ve been renovating it over the past two years and, although it is a continuous work in progress, we’re so happy to be able to share it with guests who enjoy country living as much as we do. The home has ample room for large families and groups while maintaining an intimate cozy feel. Plenty of outdoor space and miles of trails to explore on the 300 acres of property. Guest access You will need a car to get around as there is no public transport. Plenty of parking on site. Other things to note * Please note: During the winter there may be an occasional power outage or extreme temperatures. During these time you will be required to heat the home using the wood furnace in the basement. Ample wood is supplied. This is a 200 year old farmhouse and therefore in constant need of updating and repairs. We try to do these "off-season" as much as possible however there are times when certain rooms will be under construction. We will always advise you in advance and ensure it does not interfere with your stay. Please pick up after your pets and out of courtesy to other renters do not allow them on furniture without covering it first with a blanket.
