Luxury vacation home near the Wadden Sea (Texel)

The vacation home "Oostkaap" is part of an authentic Texel farmhouse. It is located right next to the Waddendijk and in the middle of a unique nature and bird breeding area. The east side of Texel is an oasis of peace and space and a Valhalla for birdwatchers and nature lovers. A cycling route over the dike takes you along the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site. Your vacation home is a few kilometers by bike from the fishing port of Oudeschild and 1 kilometer from the picturesque Oosterend. The space The brand new guest house is located inside our farmhouse. On the ground floor is the living room with a glass sliding door overlooking the large yard. The living room has a sitting area and a dining area. There is no cooking facility but all the amenities to make a breakfast or lunch. There is a countertop with a kettle, Nespresso machine, coffee maker and egg cooker. There is also a refrigerator and a microwave/oven available. The room has its own bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet and sink. On the loft there is a comfortable double bed and the room has a large tilt window (with screen) and views of the garden, meadows and the dike of the mudflats. Bed linen and towels are provided by us. The guesthouse has a terrace facing southeast. Here you can relax in peace and quiet. On the ground floor, there is underfloor heating and a radiator, and in the bedroom, a radiator. There is fiber optic internet. Bedding and towels are provided. Guest access Guests can access their own part of the farm with private entrance. Other things to note On Texel, the weather can suddenly change with heavy rainfall, even in summer. Guests should therefore always close the windows and doors when they are away. The shower and toilet are connected to a biological drain tank and therefore no sanitary products such as sanitary napkins may be flushed. Biodegradable sea should also be used for showering. Because our small children play in the yard, guests should be careful when parking and driving away. Always close the entrance gate on arrival or departure.
