The beautiful "School House" sits in the heart of Westville, New Haven's most artsy and eclectic neighborhood. The "School House" is a 15 minute walk to the Westville Concert bowl, and the Yale Football stadium for an easy commute to a concert or game. Just a one minute walk to the center of Westville you will find Lotta's artist studio, Bella's restaurant, RAWA, Pistachio Coffee and Manjares Tapas & Wine, as well as the famous Camacho Garage restaurant amongst other attractions. The space This is a private Home in Westville. The house has two bedrooms with queen beds and an open concept living room space with a couch that can be used for up to two guests. Two separate work stations are available, one downstairs and one upstairs in one of the bedrooms. A car charging station is also available in the back parking area. ***Although guests of every age are welcomed, the house has a wooden staircase and low windows on the bottom and top floors, which could pose a hazard for toddlers or young children. A baby gate is available as a safety precaution. It's of most importance to us that guests will experience a sparkling clean apartment where you can feel at home by finding all the essentials you'll need such as: - All bedding, blankets and pillows - Towels, toiletries, hair dryer, iron and ironing board - Washer and dryer and laundry supplies in the unit - Complete dish sets, pots and pans, and cooking supplies - On-street and off-street parking - Frontier high speed WiFi with free Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Showtime, Prime Video, Disney+ and for the Portuguese speaking guests, Globoplay. - Pack and play is available upon request. The house is located just steps from wonderful downtown Westville, near cafes, restaurants, fashion and artist spaces. All the artwork in the space is from local artists and many of the pieces are for sale. Let us know if you are interested in any of it. This is our way of supporting the local artist community. Guest access Guests have use of the entire house. Other things to note The house sits on top of a separate one bedroom apartment, which may be simultaneously occupied.
