Hoyllara has two bedrooms and one bathroom with a bonus sleeping room off of the living room. The cabin has a chalet-style layout, meaning the loft bedrooms are both open to the living area below. It's a wonderful choice for a family vacation in the great Northwoods. The recently renovated kitchen is a chef's dream- with stainless steel appliances, a large gas cooktop, and an under-the-countertop microwave. Like the kitchen, the bathroom has been updated with all new fixtures and finishings. In the living room, you will find a woodstove for ambiance and extra heat in the wintertime. The cabin does not have a TV, but the large windows provide ample entertainment from Lake Superior herself. Please note that the loft bedrooms are accessed via a spiral staircase which may not be suitable for very young children or anyone with mobility issues. However, the bonus sleeping area and the bathroom are located on the main level so those unable to go up the staircase will still be able to enjoy this unique and wonderful cabin. Outside you will find two lake-facing decks including a seating area and a gas BBQ grill for your summertime cookouts. On the way to the shoreline, you will pass the cabin's firepit- a perfect gathering place to recount your Northshore adventures at the end of the day. A gently sloping trail leads down to the private ledge rock shoreline where you can enjoy being up close to the Big Lake herself with 150 feet of shoreline to explore. Note: The gravel driveway is steep at the top. A vehicle with 4WD/AWD is highly recommended, especially in the winter months. Security Camera Notice: This property has security cameras on the exterior of the home. They are there for security reasons when the home is not occupied. The cameras are not used when guests are present.
