Located 2 minutes' walk from the ski lifts and Place de l'Eglise (Megève village center), at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, our large apartment (6/8 pers.) is ideal for skiers and walkers alike, in winter or summer. The large living room is perfect for getting together with family and friends. The bedrooms are equally attractive. In summer, a balcony and the small stream below provide a pleasant coolness. The space The apartment (approximately 110m²) is located on the 1st and 2nd floors of a small three-story building, at the end of a small cul-de-sac, just a 2-minute walk from the church square and the ski lifts. Parking is generally free (there are parking spaces reserved for residents, which can occasionally be full during peak seasons – but this is very rare). This means you can leave your car parked for the entire week and do everything but foot (or even arrive by train without needing a car!). The apartment is warmly furnished and equipped with a large quantity of dishes, kitchen equipment, and utensils of all kinds (pots, pans, bread machine, blender, fondue set, raclette machine, etc.), all of good quality. It has been our second home for 40 years and is therefore a family space. A selection of pantry essentials is available to tenants. The apartment is accessed through a hallway that leads to a separate toilet and bathroom and then opens into a large 55m² living space (living room/dining room/open kitchen), which is very bright and has access to a small balcony overlooking the river and facing the cable cars. In this space, there is a cozy sitting area (sofa, armchairs, and TV), a large table that comfortably seats eight people, and a piano. The living/dining area is separated from the kitchen by a bar. At the back of the kitchen, a staircase leads to the upper floor, which includes a bathroom, a separate toilet, and three bedrooms arranged as follows: - A bedroom with a 160cm bed, a television, and a closet; - A bedroom with a 140cm bed, a desk, a television screen connected only to the internet (not terrestrial TV), and four small drawers for clothing; - A dorm-style bedroom with two 160cm bunk beds, a small desk, and a large closet. All three bedrooms are very bright and open onto balconies. The hallway upstairs is also bright, with several windows. There is no ski storage room, but we leave the skis at the rental shop near the cable cars. Pets are not allowed but our cat has occasionally stayed in the appartement.
