Rural 3-bedroom cottage in quiet village

Our mid-terraced cottage sleeps up to five guests in its three well-presented bedrooms, one of which is en-suite. The heart of the home is its living room, complete with a multi-fuel stove which brings some extra cosiness in the colder months, or somewhere to dry your boots after a day in the fells. We have free parking for two cars on the driveway outside the house, and around the back is a shared garden with outdoor seating, ideal for al fresco dining when the sun is shining! The space The exterior and downstairs rooms at Number Three provide all you’ll need for comfortable living during your stay, including outdoor seating in the back garden for al fresco dining. The living room is the heart of the house. There’s plenty of space to gather around a board game or lounge on the sofa for a relaxed night in. It includes a 40″ smart TV, a range of books and board games and a wood-burning stove for bringing extra warmth and snug feelings to dark and stormy evenings. The open-plan and combined dining room & kitchen is adjacent to the living room and equipped with everything you need to self-cater throughout your stay. There’s a large American-style fridge freezer, washer/dryer machine, dishwasher, and enough crockery, cutlery, pots and pans to last a lifetime! Room One is the master suite and includes a spacious kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom with shower. Out of the windows, you’ll find views over the garden to the River Petteril behind the cottage. There’s a ton of wardrobe and drawer space in the room too! Room Two embraces the slate grey of Honister in its decor and in the smiling Herdwick face on the wall! The room includes a cosy double bed, a TV with DVD player, and ample wardrobe/drawer space. It shares the bathroom at the end of the landing with Room Three. Room Three‘s calming blues are sure to provide a good night’s sleep for its occupant. This room features original artwork of Elterwater on the wall, a comfortable single bed and DVD player too. To the front of the property are two car parking spaces, and to the back is the shared fenced garden. This space is also used by the owners, who live next door. Guest access The entire house is solely for guest use.
