Spacious 2200 sq ft 2BD/2BA condo overlooking the Iowa River is centrally located and easily accessible from all points around the city. The Library on the River boasts large living areas filled with books, board games, a large workspace, and a pool table. The cozy spaces have plenty of lighting and seating throughout to spend time together or spread out during your stay. The space There are three unique living spaces - The Sunroom, The Family Room, and The Library/Game Room - each with comfortable seating and purpose. The Sunroom has a 55" television and is connected to the deck with all of the best views from the condo. The deck overlooks the Iowa River and City Park for great sunset views and to watch the city's activity. The Family Room is connected to the Dining Area, Bar Area, and Kitchen, allowing interaction during mealtimes or a place to unwind and reflect with a great book from its bookshelf. The Library/Game Room has a competition-sized Pool Table and two bookshelves full of collectibles and more books. It also features a long workspace with a dedicated printer should you need to work during your stay. There are two bedrooms, each with its own bath. The master has a king bed, two side tables, a large closet, and a tall dresser. It is connected to the first bathroom, which also serves as a guest bath. The second bedroom is clear across the condo from the master for privacy. It has a queen bedroom, a side table, a long dresser, and two armoires. The second bathroom is connected to it and houses the washer and dryer for use during your stay. Each bathroom is appointed with Aromatherapy toiletries in a herbaceous, therapeutic scent for a spa-like experience. No petroleum products, No parabens, No synthetic fragrances, No artificial colors, No formaldehyde nor sodium lauryl sulfate. These include Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion, and hand wash in generous but personal-sized containers, reducing plastic and carbon waste. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans, and baking sheets and pans. Enjoy the best machine-made coffee of your life with the Nespresso Vertuo machine and milk frother. There are three refrigeration units to use during your stay - a freestanding, 8.7 cu. ft. fridge/freezer combo, an under-counter bar fridge, and a wine/beer chiller. We recommend leaving enough space in each for airflow so food stays fresh. There are several grocery stores within a mile to do daily shopping if a night at home cooking is on the agenda. Guest access You have a dedicated driveway and entrance into the condo for exclusive use during your stay. The condo is self-contained and well-appointed for just about anything you need. Self-check-in access is through a Schlage keypad with a code assigned to you. Please avoid using the door which leads you to the building’s shared hallway, unless there is an emergency. This is private property. If there is an emergency, please notify police, fire, and the neighbors. Other things to note This property is NOT SUITED for PETS nor CHILDREN (anyone under the age of 18). The deck has a 25' drop. Use is at your own risk. The property is NOT suited for parties and events. None are allowed. The maximum allowed on the property at any given time is 4 Adults. Please do not attempt to book for any exceptions of the above. There are plenty of beautiful properties and premier hosts nearby who allow pets and children. They would love your business. This is a non-smoking building and property. Quiet hours are between 10 pm and 7 am.
