Come and enjoy a unique experience! Located at the edge of a century-old maple grove, our new tent offers 180-degree views that extend to the Adirondacks. In cold weather, a slow-burning glass fireplace will keep you warm and provide you with beautiful light. You can cook outdoors where all the necessary equipment is at your disposal or buy our meals made from local products, which we will serve you in the tent. The space Whether it's to recharge your batteries, reconnect with nature, find your inspiration, read by a fire or deepen your relationship with your loved one... it's in this spirit that we invite you to stay with us. The tent is 4.5 meters (14.5 feet) in diameter and 2.74 meters (9 feet) high. Bedding is included, but you can also bring your sleeping bags (**highly recommended in winter for your comfort**). As for the rest of the Glamping site, we've taken care to minimize our footprint by recycling a variety of materials from old abandoned farm buildings. From your "balcony", you can watch the sunrise and sunset, admire the starry sky and watch the moonlight. With a little luck, you can see: deer, coyotes, wild turkeys, foxes, owls and others. You'll have the site and the tent to yourself. We will welcome you personally and take the time to introduce ourselves. We will give you a brief orientation of the farm, our facilities and possible activities to do on site (hiking trail, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, visiting farm animals, etc.) as well as those to do in the surroundings (Circuit du Paysan). ** As this is a tent stay where there is NO ELECTRICITY OR RUNNING WATER, you will need to bring your headlamps, slippers (winter) and personal belongings to ensure your comfort. We will escort you to the site with a sled or cart (depending on weather conditions). Note that to get to the tent, you will need to walk through our maple grove (or snowshoe). The distance is about 500 meters (15-minute walk) from your parking lot. We will provide you with all the drinking water and wood you need. During your stay, we will respect and honor your privacy. Guest access The tent is located on a private plot of more than 100 acres. You will have access to our maple grove and can also visit our animals before your departure. Our Coco Sabot Farm mainly operates a small herd of miniature goats that are used solely for the purpose of pleasure and not for meat or other derived products. Whatever the season or time of your visit, you will see our animals: goats, horse, pony, chickens, roosters and will have the chance to interact with them if you wish. We also offer a stay (for 2 people max, no children or animals) in an Eco Lodge (Bûcheron Bergère) located near our family residence. The tent is, however, located more than half a kilometer from the Lodge. So you'll be completely alone on your property. Other things to note **IMPORTANT** - You will need to walk about 500 meters to get to the site. - HEATING: The main source of heat comes from the slow-burning wood stove. So you'll need to maintain the fire, and we'll show you how. You will also have access to a portable propane heater (Mr Heater portable Buddy 9000 btu) - There is no electricity or running water, but we will provide you with all the water and wood you need for your stay. -It is essential to bring your flashlights and/or headlamps and in winter SLIPPERS. - An ecological dry toilet is located near the tent. - Wi-Fi is not available. - No shower service on site. - If you don't want to cook, we offer meals and breakfasts that are served to you at the tent.
