Thoughtfully updated for modern comfort, this charming cabin blends retro style with contemporary amenities, offering the perfect cozy base for your getaway. Located just minutes from hiking trails, skiing, and year-round outdoor activities in the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest, Arch House is ideal for those seeking adventure or a peaceful retreat. The Space: • Located in the peaceful gated community of Mt Baker Rim • Only 20 miles to Mt Baker ski area • A cozy wood-burning stove (wood provided) • Small but fully-equipped kitchen with electric range, microwave and refrigerator • A stocked coffee bar with espresso, drip, and pour-over options • A primary bedroom furnished with a comfy queen-size bed, dresser and Smart TV • Stackable washer and dryer • A newly renovated ¾ bathroom with a rain shower head • A spiral staircase leads to the open-concept upstairs area • Upstairs has two comfy queen-size beds, table for games/puzzles, game cabinet, and a lounging area with a smart TV and DVD player • Deck with picnic table and large Weber gas grill • Stone patio with firepit (firepit not available during burn bans) ***** Important Note: Access to the Second Floor is only possible via the spiral staircase, which may not be suitable for small children or individuals with limited mobility. Please keep this in mind when making your reservation. ***** In compliance with community rules, we will kindly request that you provide us with the make, model, and license plate number of each car prior to your stay. We will be collecting this information after your booking is confirmed. ***** Groceries & Dining: We recommend doing any large grocery shopping in Bellingham on your way to Arch House. There are a few small, locally owned grocery stores along Mt. Baker Highway—perfect for last-minute or forgotten items. While there are some fantastic restaurants in the area, their hours can vary, especially during the slower seasons, so we suggest arriving prepared with food and essentials. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home, deck, patio and parking area. Please note that the community pool and club house are not available for guest use due to HOA regulations. Other things to note 1) Parties or events are not allowed. A 6 person maximum occupancy is strictly enforced. 2) Out of respect for neighbors, we ask that noise levels be kept to a minimum from 10:00 pm - 8:00 am. 3) Pets are not allowed. 4) Cell service is spotty in the area, so we recommend that you have all necessary directions and check-in instructions easily accessible prior to arrival. 5) There is one main parking area that will comfortably fit 2-3 vehicles. No parking is allowed on the paved roadway or curbside. 6) Spiral staircase may not be ideal for small children or individuals with limited mobility. 7) Power outages are possible and out of our control. Additionally, during the summer and fall months, burn bans may be in effect, which may limit the use of the fire pit. 8) Arch House is situated in the secure Mt. Baker Rim gated community. Please note that the community pool and club house are not available for guest use due to HOA regulations. In compliance with community rules, we will kindly request that you provide us with the make, model, and license plate number of each car prior to your stay. We will be collecting this information after your booking is confirmed.
