Welcome to Stewton Stars Hideaway ✨ A multi-award winning retreat located near Louth (East Lincolnshire). An idyllic, peaceful location nestled between the pretty green hills of the Lincolnshire Wolds (AONB) and golden sands of the Lincolnshire Coast. Surrounded by nature, this woodland cabin is the best place to relax and recharge. Equipped with a wonderful log burner and private firepit, enjoy cosy evenings by the fire before witnessing break-taking sunsets and stargazing long into the night The space ** THIS LISTING IS FOR CABIN - LYRA ** Our name ‘Stewton Stars Hideaway’ originated due to our rural location with no near light pollution. Louth is on the periphery of the UK dark sky map, and on a clear night you get some truly wonderful constellation displays. Wrap up warm in one of the snuggly blankets provided and enjoy one of the best star scapes around (particularly in winter). The grounds here are filled with wildlife. You will find an abundance of rabbits, squirrels, badgers, pheasants, owls, deer and even the odd fox all in the gardens. Our countryside setting sits opposite Stewton's Norman church at the end of a very quiet lane with only a farm close by; making this the perfect place to relax. We have 3 secluded hobbit huts, each with private outside space and gas-fired BBQ (perfect for those long summer evenings after a day out exploring!) 1) The Little Bear - our smallest cabin sleeps 2, ideal for romantic breaks 2) Lyra - sleeps 2 and includes a log burner and fire pit outside for cosy nights. Perfect for romantic getaways 3) Orion (perfect for a small family) - sleeps 2 adults and 2 children. Orion has a larger decked space and overlooks the beautiful fields all around us. We also have a purpose built terrace, perfect for sunsets and stargazing once dusk sets in. This is a shared space between the 3 cabins. We have designed our cabins with guest comfort in mind - providing the ultimate space to relax, unwind and disconnect from the modern world. All our cabins are fully heated and equipped with electric blankets, hot water bottles and fluffy blankets for sitting outside. Inside - you will also find a kettle, toaster and mini fridge; along with essentials like tea, coffee, hot chocolate and milk ☺️ IMPORTANT NOTE: The bathrooms are not contained within the cabins. We have beautifully converted an old pig sty into luxury bathrooms for your use - they are a (maximum) one minute walk along a lit woodland path. There are two bathrooms shared between the three cabins. We provide a starter pack of wood for the fire pit and log burner. Additional wood can be purchased at £10 per bucket. Other things to note We are a completely non smoking / vaping site. This is a strict restriction on our insurance policy. Anyone found to be smoking will be requested to leave and charged a deep cleaning fee up to £300. We are a peaceful countryside retreat, where guests can relax and unwind in nature. This is not a place to party. Anyone not respecting our house rules will be asked to leave without refund. We provide a starter pack of wood for the log burner and fire pit. Additional wood can be purchased at a cost of £10 per bucket.
