Featuring a 2400 sq ft, fully remodeled open concept mid-century 4 bedroom 2 bath house which sleeps 8! There's an outdoor grilling & dining pavilion with walk to river access. Multiple Patios, Hammocks, and a fire pit. It even has a lighted fishing dock to enjoy. The space Lose yourself on our grounds featuring huge shade trees, 4 zen hammocks, which are positioned perfect for that afternoon nap and enjoy the sounds of nature which abound here. You’ll find it hard to believe you’re only 2 miles from downtown Bastrop. The property is truly Zen Central with access to the river where water activities; swimming, fishing, tubing and kayaking are popular. It is the perfect Zencation spot! We are also just minutes away from two incredible State Parks with awesome hiking and bird watching! While the house is private, grounds may be shared from time to time with guests from our sister property RiverNook, located on the same grounds. However, the grounds are large with ample patios and spaces for all. We have a feeling, like so many others over the years; you'll fall in love with RiversEdge and refer your friends and family to visit. Come sit for a spell and find your new happy place! Amenities include a full kitchen and dining area, Wi-Fi, Smart TV’s, washer/dryer, central heat/air, an air-conditioned sunroom with panoramic views of the river and grounds. The Master bedroom features a King size bed, Double doors that open onto the sunroom and a huge walk in double shower. Bedrooms 2 and 3 feature queen size beds and the fourth bedroom has a double pull out day bed. The house is perfect for entertaining, with its open concept design there is room for large gatherings. Family reunions, class reunions and weddings have all been held here. We love having well behaved pets explore the grounds with their families. We do have a $75.00 per pet per stay fee that helps keep us pet friendly. The maximum number of pets for this property is 4. Please inform us of the number of pets joining you during your stay when making your reservation. Airbnb does not collect this fee. We can send a request for funds for the additional pets or you can leave it on the counter before you leave. Emotional Support Animals are not Service Animals and will be charged the fee. (Please see house rules for pets) Whether you're planning a romantic getaway, a multi-family gathering, reunion or corporate retreat, RiverEdge will be perfect for your getaway or Zencation. While a 2-night stay is possible, the vast majority of our guests have told us they wished they had booked an additional night. If a 3-night stay is possible on your end, we recommend booking at least 3 days as it is rarely possible to add a day at the last minute. Discounted stays begin at 3 nights! Should you need to house a couple more guests, you can rent our garage apartment, RiverNook located on the same grounds or The RiverHouse and Harmony House which are just down the road, if they are available. The Neighborhood We are located in a quiet eclectic neighborhood bordering the Colorado River. About two miles from Historic Downtown Bastrop, which offers amazing pre-turn of the century architecture, quaint shops and food galore… You may see us while tending the grounds or gardens, just say hi and we'll introduce ourselves. We do give our guest privacy but we love to entertain and chat if you are so inclined. We can't wait to share our Sanctuary with you! Guest access You will have access to the house, grounds, kayak ramp, swim deck, river, lighted fishing dock. As mentioned, while the house is private, grounds may be shared from time to time with guests from our sister property The RiverHouse, located on the same grounds. However, the grounds are large with ample patios and spaces for all. Other things to note The occupancy listed is the max occupancy this property can accommodate. If you intend to host any event, celebration or other function, you will need to disclose this to us in advance and obtain approval, including an agreement to all additional fees and terms. We strongly advise trip insurance to cover your booking and will provide any documentation you may need to facilitate your claim. Our cancelation policy will be adhered to at all times during your reservation. We do not refund reservations outside of our cancelation policy. Unlike hotels who typically overbook reservations, we do not have that option. We have blocked off the property from all advertising once you booked it and typically have a hard time re-booking on short notice. If you do cancel outside of our policy, we will do our best to rebook the property and will send you any funds we collect to offset your losses less a 20% rebooking fee. These funds may be less than you originally paid. We ask that you read all House Rules & Policies including the additional House Rules section prior to booking. Upon booking, you are stating that you understand them and agree to follow and abide by them. Bastrop State Park is about 5 miles Buesher State Park is about 8 miles You will have access to four kayaks for use on the property during your stay.
