On the North Somerset coast, the beautiful Saltwater's Reach occupies the top 2 floors of this handsome Victorian Villa. Within a 5 min walk of Clevedon's historic seafront & Grade I listed pier, the generous accommodation, with some sea views, provides everything you need for an unforgettable break. The space Saltwater's Reach occupies the top two floors of Millbrook House, a stunning 1860s Victorian Villa. Being in close proximity to the beautiful North Somerset Coast, it enjoys glimpses of the sea from the first floor bathroom and kitchen, with better sea views from bedrooms two and three. The past 18 months has seen Saltwater's Reach undergo a huge restoration, where we have reinstated many of the original period features and brought the property back to it's former glory. This was after a period of 12 years of it sitting empty. Saltwater's Reach is on a residential street right in the heart of Clevedon's 'Six Ways' area, with the beach, Grade 1 listed Pier and Clevedon's Coastal Path right on the doorstep. Saltwater's Reach is very well placed for the Hill Road area with it's boutique shops, restaurants and cafes, with the main town centre also within a 10 minute walk. Guest access Access to the property is by key safe located by the main front door. The entrance hall is shared with neighbours in the first floor flat, however once through the door to Saltwater's Reach, the accommodation is all yours. Other things to note Saltwater's Reach is part of Millbrook House and as such, there are two other flats at the property. You will have your own private accommodation and are free to come and go as you please, but please be considerate during quiet times and when using the communal hallway. Saltwater's Reach is newly carpeted and so, we would be very grateful if outdoor shoes were left in the storage provided in the hallway. Children are very welcome at Saltwater's Reach, however there are a few things to bear in mind whilst staying: The property has the original sash windows, with the original Crown Glass. This is quite fragile and so care needs to be taken when playing near the windows or when opening and closing them. The property is also very tall and so the drop from the windows is considerable. There are 'stops' in place, restricting how much the windows can be opened and making them safe for children, but these can be removed if you would like to open the windows wider. All windows should be closed when not in the property, as birds have been known to fly in. The property has been fitted with a smoke alarm system to comply with UK fire safety laws. There are green lights by each internal door that assist guests in finding their way out of the property in the event of a fire. I provide guests with brand new, disposable sleep eye masks to help with the brightness of the lights overnight. I follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights: I sanitise all touch surfaces, down to the doorknobs, handles on draws, chairs and coat hangers. I use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination I clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists I provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay I comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines
