Many guests enjoy breakfast on the small entry porch or in the back garden. A generously sized queen-bed with box-spring and pillow top mattress, covered with a mattress protector, pillows & blankets. The lounge also turns into a comfortable double bed. A very comfortable single mattress on a trundle base is available and is suitable for either a child or adult. For babies and toddlers, a portable cot and high chair are available. Please advise us of your preferred sleeping arrangements when you book so we can prepare these before your arrival. A wall-attached room divider can be folded out if you want more privacy. A generous closet space with hanging space. A thoughtfully planned ensuite sized bathroom/toilet with shower stall, removable shower head, shelving, mirror, hair dryer, makeup removal pads. Privacy curtains on windows. Plenty of power points for devices. A front loading washing machine. Clothes airer. You are welcome to use our original Hills Hoist clothes line for drying. A clothes dryer is available in the main house laundry. A full-sized refrigerator for your fresh food purchases. Visit the Glenbrook Rotary Markets on alternate Saturdays for locally grown produce and wares, or visit our local supermarket and shops. Smart TV with Netflix, YouTube and other aps. Lots to entertain you. Internet. Wifi passwords are available. We run on NBN FTTP for faster download. A hardwired signal extender operates in the studio. We provide freshly ionized, electrically alkalized water at 9.0ph for healthy drinking, making tea and coffee, and cooking, supplied from a Kangen K8 water ionization system that transforms regular tap water into pure, healthy, electrolytically-reduced and hydrogen-rich drinking water. Fill your bottles before going out for the day or before checking out. Cooking equipment includes stove, microwave oven, pans, baking dishes, toaster, kettle, utensils and crockery. All the cookware you would need to whip up a delicious gourmet meal. Freshly laundered bed clothes and towels are standard. Reverse cycle air conditioning, and separate heater. Guest access Our self-contained studio is designed for comfort, and you’re welcome to unwind in both the front and back gardens. When you arrive, come along our 50 metre driveway and park near the main house. To access the studio, come towards the front steps of the house but then turn right onto the short brick path, and enter the back garden through two gates. For evening arrivals there are garden and sensor lights to guide you to the studio. Other things to note Our property is about 80 metres off the road, and the studio nestles in our large back garden, providing peace and quiet. You are welcome to enjoy wandering in both our front and back gardens. For guests with pets (our guest pets are mostly dogs) we ask that you supervise them while they are in the back garden. We don't require them to be on a lead but if you can be out there with them, not in the studio with the door closed, we will greatly appreciate this. Please do not leave your dog here unsupervised when you go out. We're happy to do some dog sitting if we are going to be home but please check with us first as we might be going out.
