We have a nice room available for you and you have a shared shower/toilet at your disposal. Coffee and tea are provided in the room. Do you need a bike? You can usually borrow it from us. In about 10 minutes you are in Haren city center and with 30 minutes cycling in the city center of Groningen. On the other side, you can walk into the Appèlbergenbos from the house. Welcome! The space You will have a private room in a former healthcare institution. In the room, there is a double bed box spring. Includes warmer, coffee maker, coffee, tea. We have a microwave/oven, to heat up something or bake a pizza. We now have a special kitchen for guests. You can use it until 9pm. Do you need a bike? You can almost always borrow a bike from us. Please let us know in advance or ask when you get there. We possibly have a crib, bath and high chair available. Please request in advance. During the summer you can make use of the terrace. Good to know: we have a little dog named Nacho. Now 6 years. Always happy and enthusiastic. You may encounter these when you are with us. Basically, it doesn't get in the way of the guests. We will ask for an identity document upon arrival. In addition, it is good to know that there are cameras all around the property. Another small footnote: we regularly receive guests who expect us to be a luxury hotel. Although we are shouting everywhere that we are offering a room in a former care facility that has not yet been renovated. This means, among other things, no heating in the hallway. If you are a cold person, bring warm clothes. The rooms all have their own heating and have been cleaned for the first time as you can see in the photo. And just to be clear: the price is also based on this. It is not for nothing that you can stay with us so cheaply. Also from the terrace when the weather is good. During your stay Upon arrival, we often come by to get acquainted and to hear if everything is as desired. Do you like to chat to get to know each other? Welcome. Would you like to step into your bubble, also great. Further communication is through the Airbnb app. Then both Jeroen and I can see the messages and we know from each other what is being communicated. Tip: Keep an eye on the Airbnb app during your stay. We also regularly send a message ourselves. If something is not to your liking during your stay, please let us know during your stay instead of a review. Then we may be able to do something about it right away, so that you really feel at home. 🖤 Other things to note We live in a former care facility that still needs to be renovated. So you will still find some care facility vibes, such as in the hallway, shower and toilet. A dated but clean one. As soon as we start renovating, it will also be mentioned here. Because we are busy cleaning up and sorting things out, it may seem a bit messy in the common areas. When we are working on one room, we have to put the stuff in the other room.
