Enjoy conversation around the fire pit or the dining room table while making use of the full kitchen or enjoying take out from a nearby restaurant. Sweet dreams await when you retire to your comfy bedroom that includes a queen bed. You may use the laundry room, living room & den with Nintendo Wii and more! Our spacious home is located on the edge of Charleston so you are minutes away from everything the town has to offer and only a few blocks from west Lincoln Ave that takes you directly to Mattoon and I-57 avoiding traffic and stop lights. You'll be a mere 6 minutes from downtowns historic Square that boasts many unique small businesses including The Corner Spot indoor flea market, Pensee's Books, Sirius Unbound cards and gaming, and much more! We have yard games and board games, Nintendo Wii, and also wood for the fire pit. Guests will have a private bedroom that sleeps 2 and a private bathroom. Guests may also use the living room, family room, kitchen, dining room, laundry, back deck, and yard. If you have more than 2 in your party we have another guest room available, The Rose Room, that sleep 3 adults or 2 adults with 2 children. My wife and I live in the home and will be available for any questions or concerns you may have. We are entrepreneurs with many endeavors so we are often in and out of the home. We can easily be reached by call or text if needed. Our home is only a few blocks from the main highway that gets you from one end of town to the other, yet we are far enough out to enjoy the peacefulness of country-like living and atmosphere. Charleston offers public transit that stops only 3 blocks from our home. It can take you to downtown's historical Square, Walmart, EIU campus, Carle Clinic, and more. Charleston also has Lyft, Uber, and privately owned taxi services. Feel free to ask us about the restaurants, shopping, and anything else about your stay in Charleston. We have 4 actively recording cameras overlooking the exterior property, 1 on each of the 4 corners of the house. We also have an active smart speaker device in our private bedroom and a video calling hub with built in smart assistant.
