The apartment is located on a busy street, close to lots of restaurants and bars, 1 min away from the subway station. My guest-room is large, 23 sqm with a super king size bed and luxury mattress. The space The apartment is a 120 sqm Altbau apartment with 3.5 m ceilings and original wooden floors. It is on the upper ground floor, which makes access straightforward if you are arriving with larger bags. We live in one bedroom, and one guest room is available to rent. The apartment is large and the guest room is located at the opposite end of the flat, so guests usually have a good sense of space and privacy. The guest room is spacious (23 sqm) and includes a super-king size bed (180 × 200 cm), a large antique wardrobe, and fresh 100% cotton bed linen and towels. Compared with most Berlin hotel rooms, the space is considerably larger, while still offering the atmosphere of a traditional Berlin Altbau home. Because the apartment sits on a main road, street noise is part of the environment, particularly at weekends. Like many central Berlin neighbourhoods, the area also has its share of big-city energy and colourful urban characters, so it’s best to arrive with realistic expectations about city life. There are no pets in the apartment. I normally don’t use Instant Book, so when getting in touch please include a short introduction about yourself, your travelling companion, and the purpose of your visit to Berlin. You’re also welcome to ask any questions. This is a home rather than a commercial rental, so it suits respectful and independent travellers who are comfortable staying in a lived-in Berlin apartment.
