Please use the following directions to find the Alpine Lodge. 1. From Highway 2 -if heading EASTBOUND, turn LEFT onto Chumstick Hwy -if heading WESTBOUND, turn RIGHT onto Chumstick Hwy 2. Turn RIGHT onto NORTH RD 3. Turn LEFT onto FOX RD (not Fox Hollow Rd) 4. The paved road ends at a cul-de-sac. CONTINUE onto Fox Rd. It is a gravel road. 5. Make a RIGHT onto Foxridge Lane. This is the direction most people miss, look for the sign to 60 Foxridge Lane/Alpine Lodge. 6. In just a short distance the entrance to the driveway is on your RIGHT. As you make your way to the Lodge, please note that Foxridge Lane is uphill, and the driveway slopes down toward the house. To safely reach the house, 4WD with healthy tires, and/or chains are a must. If you have vehicles that can't make it up, consider parking them at the nearby train station and shuttle up with your group in a more weather-appropriate vehicle. If you park at the cul-de-sac below or anywhere but the driveway & garage, your vehicles will be towed or plowed in. In snowy conditions (4"-6" of snow), the driveway will automatically be added to a snow-plow route for clearing but it is not possible to set a specific time for snow clearing. Please be prepared for both snow and ice during your stay. Please park inside the garage if possible to keep the driveway open for snow clearing. At some point, due to the residents only/no trespassing/gate, and the fact that the house is on the side of a mountain, you may feel like you're going the wrong way.
