A short drive from I-40, in a beautiful wooded, neighborhood. Includes premier golf courses ie Bear Trace, a Jack Nicklaus course within 20 miles. For the more adventurous-a half hour drive gets you to 23 public hiking trails and kayaking on the Obed River, Clear Creek, and Daddy's Creek. A super clean, cozy cottage with wifi, hi def, smart TV. A short drive to mom and pop restaurants, fast food, and night life with craft beer, wine tasting, live music. We are always trying to improve our space so you might see us working around the property but we will not be near the house nor bother you all. We are located in a safe and quiet neighborhood central to Crossville, which is the home of the famous Cumberland County Playhouse and Cumberland Mountain State Park. The Cottage is located less than 10 miles from the city center, local hangout Social Brew, Fairfield Glade Resort and 2 wineries-Stonehaus and Chestnut Hill. We have a round dirt track, drag strip during the summer. Tours are available at the historical Homestead Tower. There is public access to Meadow Park Lake for fishing, swimming, and canoeing. There are a number of wonderful waterways for those wanting to kayak. If golf is your passion there are 9 championship courses within a 20 mile radius. For the hiker there are nearly 2 dozen public access hiking trails with some beautiful waterfalls within a short drive of Crossville. In the Spring there are striking green hills with wild redbud and dogwoods blooming, and the view is even more beautiful with the color change in the Fall. During the Fall of 2021 we are working on completing a pond on the property for our guests to enjoy. The site is not near the house so no guest will be bothered.
