Adorable Lake Front Guest Cottage

Welcome to Lake Osborne Estates located in Lake Worth, Florida. Take it easy at this tranquil and picturesque 338 acre lake named Lake Osborne. This is a peaceful place where anytime during the day, and even after dark, people are gazing out over the lake taking in a sunrise or sunset, walking, jogging, cycling, and walking their dogs on leashes along the path that goes around the lake for 4.1 miles and nearly 7 miles of total paths in John Prince Park on the east and west sides of the lake. The space This renovated, modern/rustic studio style, Lake House Guest Cottage is located directly across the street from Lake Osborne. It is a separate space from the main house where the owners live. It is nestled behind a fence in the back yard of the main house and has its own private entrance, patio area and space to park one car. From the cottage entrance, you will have a view of the lush gardens that surround an in-ground salt water pool. The back yard and pool are shared spaces with the owner and can be used by guests at their leisure. The Guest Cottage is open concept where the sleeping area, small dining area and kitchen are all within the same space with the exception of the bathroom that's located through a door just off the kitchen. SLEEPING AREA: There is a comfortable, high quality queen size mattress. Cotton sheets, gel memory foam pillows, and micro plush blankets are provided. In addition there is an armoire with hangers for hanging clothes and storing shoes, a full size ironing board and iron, alarm clock, two bed side tables with lamps that have outlets for charging your phones and or other electronic devices, A/C, heat, ceiling fans over sleeping area and kitchen. The sleeper sofa/ futon serves as a sitting area during the day. For your viewing pleasure, an Insignia 32-inch Smart Full HD 1080p Fire TV is provided with premium cable channels or you can access your own streaming accounts like Netflix . DINING AREA: There is a small table with two chairs for dining. The table can open up to fit an additional guest. KITCHEN AREA: There is a well equipped kitchen to prepare your meals that includes a full size sink, 4 burner electric induction cooktop, microwave oven, medium size refrigerator/ freezer, 4 cup drip coffee maker, and toaster. Additional items included are pots, pans, dinner plates, salad plates, bowls, mugs, large and small beverage cups, eating utensils and an array of cooking utensils, a cutting board, colander, salt, pepper, hot sauce and olive oil. An added bonus is the coffee bar area where you can enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, sugar, sugar substitute, creamer and down below plenty of baskets to store groceries. Paper towels, napkins, kitchen towels and oven mitts are provided and there are is also additional kitchen cabinets to store groceries or other items. Enjoy the colorful view out the kitchen window of the garden and pool area. Bathroom: This cozy modern/rustic bathroom comes equipped with a corner shower with a glass enclosure, ceramic tile and pebble stone floor. There is a sink, mirror and an under sink cabinet with a blow dryer. The toilet area has an additional mirrored cabinet over the toilet for storing your toiletries and there's a corner hutch where you'll find a magnified makeup mirror, tissues and extra rolls of toilet paper. Fresh towels, hand towels and wash cloths are provided for each guest as well as sample size toiletries. OUTDOOR: Just outside the entrance to the Lake House Guest Cottage, there are two patio chairs and a table for relaxing and having a cup of coffee in the morning or a bite to eat and a drink in the evening while taking in the view of the garden and pool area. When you're ready to explore the neighborhood and lake, simply go out the same gate you came through, cross the street( Lake Osborne Dr.), and walk over beyond the wooden fence to the paved path where you can take a stroll and take in the breathtaking views of Lake Osborne. When facing the lake, you can walk to your right for approximately 0.2 miles or about 11 houses down, you'll find the entrance to J Duvall McMillen Park. Here you'll find plenty of shade trees, a couple picnic tables with BBQ grill, an area of white sand to lay down a towel or blanket and relax as you look out over the lake. Guest access The Lake House Guest Cottage is for your own private use. It is located behind the main house and is surrounded by a fence. You will enter through a gate located on the left side of the property that has a sign that says " Lake House Entrance " (Please keep this gate closed at all times) Once past the gate, follow the curved path up to the entrance with a big WELCOME sign. There is a keypad to the left of the entry door that you can open with a code that you shall be provided with a couple days prior to the start of your stay. We also provide a lockbox with a key as backup. Lost keys will result in a $50 charge. The small patio area with 2 chairs, a table and a gas grill directly in front of the cottage entrance are for your own private use. The backyard and pool are shared spaces with the owner. The covered patio area and outdoor kitchen attached to the back of the main house are for the owners private use. There is space to park one vehicle on the property near the entry gate to the cottage. No trailers, boats or additional vehicles are allowed. During the day, you may also park your car for free directly in front of the lake that is located on the opposite side of the property. Other things to note Please note that only the registered and confirmed Air bnb guests are allowed on the property or in the pool as only they are covered under Air bnb's air cover insurance. No outside guests please! Thank you! This Lakehouse Guest Cottage is not equipped to receive handicapped guests in wheelchairs or walkers due to narrow pathways both inside and outside the property. At the present time we are only hosting stays of 3-7 nights. A couple extra days, if needed, can be arranged with a previous request by the guest and approval by host. Only one small or mid size car is permitted to be parked in the designated parking space for guests. No recreational vehicles, commercial trucks, boats, vans or buses are allowed.
