Beautiful lakefront home, by the bay, with heated Indoor pool. Close drive to Kemah, Galveston, and highly rated restaurants. All 10 spacious bedrooms have their own attached full bathroom. Upstairs rooms have breathtaking balcony views of the bay/lake, and private entrances. Downstairs rooms are large and beautifully furnished. Located in a safe, secluded and private back lot of a small gated community. Perfect for large family vacations, multiple couples retreats, teams, reunions, etc. Unbelievably low prices for winter. Summer time the dates start to fill up early so make sure to get the dates you want for your vacation before they’re gone. ALL 10 bedrooms have attached own full private bathroom. 6 upstairs bedrooms. All rooms have beautiful views from the balcony overlooking the pool/lake and/or the bay. The upstairs loft is perfect to just hang out and even get a massage in the massage chair. The 4 downstairs rooms are beautifully decorated and very spacious. Large 75” tv in living room plus a large tv by the indoor pool. Plenty of seating. Two dining tables. A downstairs community bathroom. Pool volleyball is a hit. Kayaks and pedal boat for you to enjoy. You’re free to climb onto the big abandoned white boat and relax, take pictures, fish off the private pier, just have fun. PLENTY of room for 25 or more. Some listings break 4 or five beds into a single bedroom. We wanted to make it more comfortable and private for each individual couple, person, or small family. We’ve hosted small weddings, reunions, birthday’s. This place is perfect, very unique, and among the best in Galveston for getting a large group together comfortably. Fishing in the pond is great, we’ve had guests catch 30 lb catfish (hack.. use dead shrimp bait and fish towards the bottom water I’m told). Indoor pool is heated. Ping pong table. You’ll love coming back home to this place from the beach or Schlitterbahn, or Kemah boardwalk, or NASA and many more exciting destinations nearby. Guests have access to the entire property, lake (careful 20 plus ft deep) the pools, the fishing pier, the large boat is non operable, free to take pictures on or hangout (please do not go inside of the boat) small pedal boat, kayaks and the pond. Only thing off limits is the apartment and storage buildings at the back of the property. When you book you are allowed up to 25 guests. If you would like to do more than 25 there will be a charge of up to $25 per guest per night. I do not recognize visitors, anyone setting foot on the property for even an hour is considered a guest and needs to be listed and paid for, regardless of if they’re not staying the night. All guests are welcome to stay the night or come and go as they please. We have about 7 extra twin mattresses, 1 pull out in room 2, a few other furniture good for sleeping on if necessary. Be straightforward about the number of guests and I will give you a rate that we both agree is fair. I can have the indoor pool heated. Please note the indoor pool is not a hot tub, I keep it at comfortable pool temperatures, to keep from causing damage to the interior of the house from moisture in the air. Heating the indoor pool is included in your reservation. My wife and I manage and maintain the property. We live in the completely separate apartment at the back of the property. We are there to help with anything you may need during your stay. We DO NOT use any pool, fishing pier, or amenities while guests have reservations. You will most likely see us drive by and wave, that is about it. We make it a point to give all guests their due privacy and do not disturb, hover or bother at any time. I do the cleaning only once guests have checked out, but am available if you need my help with anything. I usually clean the pool Friday mornings, but any necessary maintenance while you stay I will always make sure you’re aware of before tending to it. Very safe, quiet, gated and secluded neighborhood, across the street from bay, and there is a public park at the bay. 10 parking spots. Ask if you think you may require more I might be able to accommodate Every room has a TV. I also have a 3 bedroom Lakeview cottage that is only 3 doors down (about 50 yards away) that has a community pool and separate fishing pier to the same lake as this house in case you need space for about 7 more people. When you rent the cottage those up to 7 guests are permitted to come and go as they please to the big house as well. Please be aware, absolutely no refunds for canceling outside of our strict no refund policy for cancellations. Please do not ask for a refund if you are going to cancel for any reason. If host cancels (extremely unlikely) you’re obviously entitled to, and will receive the full refund. Pet fee is $200 per pet. No pets on furniture, linens, bath tubs etc. there is a leash rule in this gated community, if you’ll be walking a dog outside of this property, they must be on a leash at all times.
